DH leaving early...DME question?

Although we have been to WDW several times, we have always rented a car and never used DME. On our upcoming trip my DH we be leaving to come home 2 days before the rest of us. He was thinking about using DME so I don't have to drive him to the airport. Will that be a problem even though we won't actually be checking out until 2 days later? No one else will be using DME during this trip. Should I call to let them know about this now, or do you think it would be ok to let them know at the resort (CSR) when we check in? Thanks!!

Your husband can use DME to get to the airport, each person on the reservation can use DME once to and once from MCO, you must however have a reservation, you can call and make it now or wait until you check in and call from the resort. They have a seprate reservation system so the front desk can't make the reservation for you but they will direct you to a phone where you can call them from the resort

He just needs to arrange his DME trip at least a day in advance of his departure day.

Less confusion and less of a chance of screwing something else up i fyou wait until you get there to adjust the going home DME reservations.

When you check in at the resort, make the plans for your dh's DME return. He should get a return notice the day before he is due to leave. I would double check that day before, just to make sure he is all set to go.
