DH is trying for a new job - need some PD **Update**

Need some prayers and pixie dust

DH is currently a warehouse foreman but a safety coordinator job came open and he's applied for it. There are nine in-house candidates but with his sheriff reserve background we're hoping he will get it. He has lots of experience dealing with accidents, accident reports, and the state regs. I think he's pretty well qualified - but then I am prejudiced.

The job would be slightly less pay than his getting right now - but he's working 50 to 70 hours a week. He's been doing this since January with no end in sight. It's getting difficult to keep up with all of the things that need to be done around the house. My oldest DS is 15 so he's a big help but the boys are both starting to comment on the fact that their dad is working so much. Unfortunately there is no one else that can work the overtime for him.

Anyway - I Know the Power of the DIS - so any prayers and/or pixie dust would be greatly appreciated!

Good luck!! I admire the fact that he is willing to take a pay cut in order to be there for his family more! You so rarely see that in a person anymore.

Well DH called and he didn't get the job I could tell he was pretty bummed out. I told him that I think he is just so good at what he does that they know they couldn't replace him in his current position.

oh man, that's a wicked bummer!! But maybe this is for a reason and something else is out there for him. Keep up the hope!
