Thanks guys

Steve had an angiogram yesterday and thankfully everything is OK.

Jakki, I'm sorry to hear that - is it anything to do with the illness he had before you went away?

It wasn't connected to that at all, we were at the BMG in Universal and right at the end he came over all clammy with a very bad headache and was sick. We made it to first aid and their tests showed up a very low heart rate. It seems that athletes can have a low heart rate but at 50+ and 16 odd stone they didn't class Steve as athletic.

They called an ambulance to take him to Dr Philips Hospital on Turkey Lake Rd (just near the Walmart) and he was at ER until about midnight with verious tests before they decided to admit him. It was seriously frightening, we got a cab back to the villa and once I sorted out that I was insured to drive, we collected it the next day.

All his tests were great and they were going to let him home once they got the results of the stress test. The test itself was fine and they were impressed with his heart rate but 3d mapping before and after showed up some areas of concern and the cardiologist wanted to do the angiogram just to be on the safe side.

Thankfully that was OK and it seems he does just have a naturally low heart rate!!!!!

He's home now but as they went in through an artery, he can't bend, stretch, lift anything heavier than a carton of milk or pretty much do anything until at least Saturday. After that, he can go out but has to take it easy and can't swim or use a hot tub for about 3 weeks.

We cancelled our Vero trip for later this week but we should still be able to get over to BLT. Not sure how we'll handle the parks yet, we'll just see how it goes.

....Any chance of you getting to see us at the DISmeet? Jakki said they would try and make it but I guess some of their plans will change now.

We'll see how it goes Wayne, but we might well try and make it as we'll have to take things easy now.

we know from past experience how scary it can be went one of your gets ill while away on holiday .
Hope you can both relax's a little now & enjoy the rest of your trip

Scary wasn't the word :scared1: I went on auto pilot for the past 48 hours and I think it's just starting to hit now.

Very relieved and pleased that Steve's ok Jax... enjoy the rest of the hol chuck.

Cheers Mike and there's a big drink in Epcot with your name on it (haven't decided if it's a coffee in Italy or some Champagne in France - but I'll let you know ;) )
