DH is HOME!!!

First off, thanks so much for all the support! You guys are a great bunch!! Thank you for celebrating with me!

My DH is in the National Guard ( 18 years ). He is a medic in a ground ambulance unit. Civilian, he is a registered nurse. He loves his job! :thumbsup2

Thanks again!!!

Some of my favorite soldiers are medics. I know it's tough to deal with the separation of deployment. Thank your husband and YOU for your sacrifices for the benefit of us all. :thumbsup2

Don't let him kid you! he was a Brigade Commander or Hospital Commander or something like that before he retired. he made life a living he** for the troops. Right Colonel? :lmao: :lmao:

Hopefully this will be his last deployment.

I was a good commander - fair and even tempered, loved by all (except that clueless Brigadier General that was my boss).

Hey all,
I just wanted to share our wonderful news! My husband is back in the states from Iraq! He has been gone for 7 months and this is his second tour of duty ( he was gone 13 months the last time ). He is in Washington State and we live in Alabama, so I wont see him until he gets here, but he is in the states!!! YEA YEA YEA!!! :jumping1:

Can you tell I am excited?!!
I just wanted to share with you all!
Just 41 days until we come to Disney for the first time.

YEA! :woohoo:

I'm sure you'd love to hop in a car and take a quick zip up to see him (AL, to WA... hm... yea I think it can be done in under 10 min). My son's best friend from highschool is on his 3rd deployment over there - I love him and his commitment but hate the worries for his mom and everyone else who loves him, myself included :headache:

Please give your husband a huge hug from the Dis for us when you do finally see him :goodvibes Hehe -- I can hear the conversation now: You: "...and this is from my Disboard friends" -- Him: "OK, now i know she's really lost it"

Heading off to Disney will be so much fun & I can't think of a better way to celebrate. Oh no, I'm sounding like the Disney marketing team has gotten to me. Do be aware that some soldiers are not comfortable at all with the sound of fireworks. You might want to see them from a distance to start with.

Where are you staying?

That is great news to hear! Give your DH an extra hug and a thanks from us all!

I'm so happy for you all that your dh is coming home safe and sound!! Thank you to both of you for your service to our great country! Have a wonderful time in Disney! :flower3:

A big thank you to you, your husband and your entire family for the sacrifices you have all made to keep us safe here at home. God Bless You.

:thanks: :thanks: :thanks:

A big heartfelt thank you to your husband for his service and thanks to God for bringing him home safely to your family. :woohoo:
