Yay! So glad to have more subscribers!
Hopefully today I'll have a chance to plot out our days since the big ADR day is on Monday! Hopefully we get everything we're hoping for!

Who We Are
DH - Andrew - soldier, paratrooper, goofball, Disney fan (thanks to me!), incredibly supportive husband, devoted doggie dad, and could easily talk to a wall if you asked him...

Hi! Being a fellow military wife (husband is active duty Navy), your title drew me in.Thank you to you and your husband for the sacrifices you make for our country.
Your restaurant choices look great. We love Boma, but have only had breakfast there. Some day we'll try dinner.
Looking forward to reading more!
Hi! I love your plans so far! How great your DH gets to come home.LOVE your dog! I used to have a basset...she was such a sweetie....I'm working on DH for that to be our next dog...right now we have an big old hound dog mixed with chow and who knows what else! But he is great with our kids.
As for the Flag retreat at MK...there are so many mixed things I have read and been told. Here is what happened to us. I wanted to arrange this for my Dad when we went. I was told you couldn't do it over the phone, dont' know if that is true? But I showed up on the first morning or our vaca at City Hall and they were booked for the entire 7 days out! That was in June, a little busier than it will be when you get there. I say try calling any and everybody you can. I hope they can work it out for you!
Thanks to you and your DH for your scarafice!![]()
If you like to travel and like adventure, then the military is a great lifestyle. I get bored easily and start to get an itch to move every 2 years so it works for me. My husband has 4 1/2 years left so we're about at the end.
I'm a HUGE Guinness fan and dh and I ate at Raglan Road on our last trip. Of course I had to have a Guinness while there! The food was also amazing. Here's a link to my entry about Raglan Road in my TR:

That's wonderful that you'll get to visit with your friend while there. And a day off from the parks is always good anyway - to relax a bit.
WOW! Carissa that food looks amazingand $70 is a lot better than I thought it would be with drinks and an appetizer...Perhaps we really will need to add this to our list! Sounds like you made the ADR for that meal the day, is that true? I am hoping we can do that as well since we're not sure what day we'll be at DTD. Although, I would love to take our friend there. He's very proud of his Irish heritage, and would just love it!

I hope I can can DH in to be veteran of the day. He is always so modest, and I would love to do this for him! Who did you call? Did you call MK once you arrived or did you try before hand?
We adore our basset, but lordy is she a handful!![]()
She gets into EVERYTHING! She definitely lets me know that we are not ready for kids yet!

Hope your vacation was wonderful.
I just found out that active duty military can get a complimentary 5 day pass to WDW and can purchase up to 5 companion tickets for $99 each. Thought you might like to know.![]()
Thanks for the info Carissa! I just saw that this morning as well. When I called to pay the balance on our trip, I asked the CM and she said it cannot be combined with the 7/4 deal. Bummer!
I told DH I guess that means we need to head back in November to see the Christmas decor!!!![]()
