DH is going back to work

As some of you may recall, DH has been trying to find a permanent job since he was left go at Thanksgiving last year. A temp service put im in a great company, but an injury on the job forced them to release him of his duties after 2 months.

Since the beginning of February he has been applying for work, with little if any leads. The temp service hasn't had anything for him in a month, and he hasn't had income since the first week of February. Thank goodness I could cancel my payroll dedcutions to a vacation club and Christmas club accounts and have that moeny in my hand within a week, and we had a substantial income tax refund that was direct deposited the second week of February. All that money helped my measely income pay the bills for the month - a Disney trip is most likely out of the question for this year.

The good news is, he has been re-hired at McDonald's, he worked there a couple of years ago. It's not the "greatest" career, but it is a job with decent pay and benefits. It's not the job he wanted, but he's willing to tough it out until something better comes along.

Hopefully I can spend the rest of the year paying off those stinking charge cards so I'll have more money for fun and a trip to WDW.

That's wonderful news that your husband found a job. He is willing to take something that he's not crazy about. That takes patience and courage to do.
