DH is Fixing Things Again

DH is fixing our toilet - that means at least 3 trips to Home Depot. 1st trip to buy the parts, second trip to return the part and buy new parts, third trip to buy more parts that he forgot on the first two trips.

The toilet so far has been sitting in the middle of the floor for 24 hours

He has a definite pattern everytime he fixes something. Its a running joke with my Dad and brothers. Poor guy.

Sounds like the way my DH fixes things....but they do eventually get fixed

But why does it take 2 hours to go 7 miles to town to buy one part ?

Okay, now we are up to five trips to Home Depot, One trip to Lowes and a trip to a friends house 15 minutes away to borrow a Dremel (Don't ask).

Yes, thank goodness we have another potty.

Ratsrule, thanks for the link - he already has about 10 pages printed off the internet to help with this "little" project.

He has been sawing parts I don't even ask anymore, I'm just getting snarled at. I'm staying clear of him now. Saw him walk by with Duct Tape though - wonder what that's for?

Meriweather - I was wondering the same thing about why it takes two hours to get a part when Home Depot is just up the road and Lowes is across the street.
