We leave Wednesday for our first cruise on the Wonder (leaving Thursday). My DH is really laid back and does not get to excited about things. Tonight he said he can't wait to explore the ship. Even though he always has loved WDW and I know he will love the cruise just to hear him say that makes me more excited!! This time next week we'll be on the Wonder.:teeth: :teeth:

My husband tried not to act too excited about our cruise in may 03 but, the second we drove over that last hill in the Disney bus and saw the beautiful Magic in port he said, " I'm sure this isn't going to be our last Disney cruise.) I could tell he was choked up and he isn't a very emotional person. This was also after he warned me that this was probably going to be a once in a life time trip. As you can see from the counter below it wasn't. Thank God! I can usually talk him into anything though. I just had to promise to pay for this trip out of our regular budget and not intirely from our savings like last time. Thats why I am booked so far in advance.:D

BF is very laid back and I've only been able to get him to say he's looking forward to it once or twice...we have 18 days to go ...maybe when we get closer to it...

DOnt worry jlp, I think once your husband sees the ship he will feel the same way. It's impossible not to feel the "Magic"

Not married yet...even though we have been together for just about 3 years...but hey maybe the ship will move him to make that next step *LOL* here's to hoping!!! :)

Wishing you luck jlp. The Magic does make one a little emotional at times so.... maybe. ;)

Thank you...we'll see...right now I just really really hope he takes in all the magic of disney...and enjoys himself...read my doc dance post you'll see what I mean...

I didn't say anything about the trip...He says things out of the blue sometimes. We went to Disney in 2001 for our honeymoon and I planned everything. (I love the research part of vacation.) I knew he would have fun, but was afraid he may think Disney was a little "cheesy" for him. When we got home he couldn't stop talking about it. The following summer (2002) he said he wanted to go to Disney World, so we took a kind of spur of the moment trip. It was planned in about a month. This year he wanted to go somewhere different. So I started planning a trip to NYC. He wanted to go to a Mets game and I could go shopping!! I started getting excited about it then he says he wants to go on a Disney cruise. I couldn't say no to Disney so here we are again. :jumping1:

Once you go on a DCL vacation, it's hard not to plan one for the next year, it's so addictive....we started in '99 and having been doing it ever since.....can't wait for August to get here......Andy

something deep down tells me we'll be ok...I just wish he would get excited...he seems like it just doesnt matter...but we'll see...I'm hoping our next trip will be an alaskan cruise...but from what I hear dcl is the top of cruise lines...their service might e hard to beat...but should he realize that and want to do another dcl...I wont complain...
