DH is crazy and I'm upset

Southwest airlines has a round trip ticket to Orlando from KC for around $100. I found a discount code for ASMu for $55 a night. We could go for a long weekend in November before Thanksgiving. DH said no!

Granted, we are getting ready to build or buy a house, but for that price, how can you pass it up?

So now all my hopes are dashed, he's mad b/c I brought it up and now I'm upset. Oh well. I guess it's for the best.

Sonya that sounds exactly like something that went on in my house not too long ago. Now that we do have a great house I am happy we saved the money but it is so hard when you want a trip that badly.

I feel your pain, Sonya... and I live about two hours north of you!!!

We are just ready to move into our new home, and this airfare is KILLING me! It's so nice to be in the company of people who actually understand!

I know I'm being irrational, we really want this house, but the prices are making me crazy!!!!! I keep doing the math, trying to find a way.

OMG! That would be worth it for me to drive to KC from St Louis to get the airfare rate! No....I don't want to look or know either. It would make me crazy at this point! I just hate it when I find a good deal like that and can't take advantage of it! {{HUGS}}

I suppose you could say its short term pain for long term gain. But I dunno how short it is waiting all those months.

There'll be others time after you get your new home. But what great rates!

Awww! Hang in there... you'll be able to go again soon. I know how you feel. It's a bummer when you want to do something so bad, but just can't quite swing it. But, maybe the house should be priority for now?

Also, I was just yesterday reading your trip reports on that board. Maybe go re-read them and relive your great trip?

However, you know people are getting the Courtyard/Marriott dt disney for $20 nitely certains nites.

Also, the newly renovated Best Western in dt disney is coming up for $25 on priceline.

You could cut your hotel bill in half this way.
