Thanks for the info about the dining plan. We got the code for "free" dining for July.....now I am trying to plan meals. We were not sure if the TS credits were linked to each person.....

Are you going this summer??? As of now, we will be at the BWI from July 12 - July 23.

We were hoping to get one my trip in with our AP and go at the beginning of July. Unfortunately, all of dh's colleagues chose those weeks, so we are going the first week of Aug.

During my feast of Tonga Toast, my phone rang. I saw it was my mom and headed out of the dining room to answer it. I was a little worried. It was Sunday morning and she should be in church...So, I answer it and she said, "Is everything okay? I saw that you called and I am in church." I said oops, I guess I purse called you. Such an exciting story, huh?

Anyway...

We left the Poly and headed to the MK.

Looks like it's getting crowed...

Okay, not this way...

We all rode together, then I let the girls ride alone...

We rode Small World together (I know...the girls asked... )

Afterward, they realized the error of their ways... It was interesting to me, however, because I was trying to figure out the relationships of the family (8 or so people) in our boat. hehe.

To redeem themselves, they wanted to ride SM, etc...I sent dh and girls to ride while I explored for pics.

Fantasyland always gets so crowded...

oops, I forgot. We rode Snow White's Scary Adventures due to its eminent closure...

So back to my exploring...

After some castle shots from the side I always ignore, it was time for a parade!!

It was so cool how the characters dance with everyone!!

Okay, I probably don't need introductions...

Then, while staking out a possible place for firework shots...I stopped to smell the roses. Not one other person was around on this path...

I met up with the family and the girls got snacks...

On the way out, I snapped this great shot of Daisy, with an even better shot in the back - do you think he just popped the question???

Grabbed another couple of daytime shots...

And then we park hopped to... ???

great update! I LOVE THE CASTLE PICS!!! It seems like a ton of people have updated their TR/PTR tonight! The snacks look yummy and I could use one of those right now

She is a junior, so one more year......she is still looking at the state schools on the western side of PA..

While we were in the World, a few rides were being refurbed...Splash Mountain, Primeval Whirl, Kali River Rapids...these are some of my girls' favorites.

Kali River was scheduled to reopen though, (not sure where we overheard that)...so off to AK to we went.

Without even seeking her out...we saw

The girls got off and wanted to hop right back on...10 minute wait, no problem or was there??

So quickly, before the massive tour group, I sent my family back on.



I took the opportunity to take some more park pictures...

We left AK and headed back to the room for a nap before our late night at MK...

The girls slept, but I was unable to unwind...packing, nervous energy to get back to the park...

We headed back to MK and ate at Pecos Bill's

After dinner, I wanted to see the new castle show and get pictures of the fireworks.
Kids and dh wanted to hit BTM etc.

Hannah said she'd go with me, so off we went. The castle show began earlier
than we could get set up. We made our way through the crowd and I didn't get
any good pictures of the castle show. I was excited to see it though. I watched
a video of it on the plane and it was incredible. I have to confess when I heard
that Disney was going to project pictures, I thought...!

so, I borrowed some to share with you

We set up for fireworks (remember the rose path---couldn't get there in time,
so I wrapped the gorillapod around the rail...and found that this spot was really
not ideal, but we were stuck. I hoped the entire time that the man in the hat
would leave...

Next trip- I have to make getting a spot a priority!!!


Firework pics--

one of these days, I will have awesome shots...in the meantime...

After, Hannah and I went to the castle and played with the timer and tripod!

The tripod is only about a foot tall, and I was lying on the ground to set it up.

Then, we had Em and dh join us!

Dh and girls went to ride more rides and I headed to Main Street Bakery to use credits. I picked up four sandwiches, pastries, and drinks. and chips.. We had pasteries for breakfast and took the sandwich to the airport. (We ate it for lunch on the plane ride home. This really is a great way to have a little bit of MK on the way home...)

The four sandwiches fit together as a giant round sandwich...I wish I took pictures...???

My last update will be travelling home, and souveniers!

I am glad that the girls got to go on Kali before you had to leave. I hope that we don't see too many tour groups when we go there, I have heard all sorts of horror stories about them.

I can't wait to see the magic the memories and you show at MK. On the youtube videos I have watched it looks spectacular, I can only believe it is even more breath taking in person. I also agree with you when I heard the news that they were projecting photos onto the castle I thought that it was a terrible idea. In my mind I had an image of it being like, watching your great aunts slide shows, I am sure you have experienced something similar. I should have had more faith in Disney.

I am sorry this is your last day. So sad, but there is always next time to plan .

I had never seen the new castle show....and I had a hard time trying to imagine how it would look...I thought it looked great! The pictures of all of you in front of the castle are great....beautiful!! I can't believe this is almost over Can't wait to see what you went home with.....I have to remember to take pics on this upcoming trip of sourvenirs...I never remember to do that

Am also glad the girls got to ride Kali again before all those blue ponchos made it in to the line. The castle show with pictures looks awesome - wasn't sure what to expect but am looking forward to seeing it.
