DH in hotseat at Millionaire!

We just got back from our Disney trip. Last Wednesday, DH made it into the hotseat! He was the second person to make it into the chair. They post the ten fastest and most accurate scores---He was first and I was third! Anyway, he made it to the 64,000 question and won a hat, shirt, lanyard, and ten pins. We were so proud!

Would you believe that, in all the trips I've had to Disney, this past trip was the first time I did Millionaire? What fun! Not that I have the fastest answers, but I was so relieved I didn't make it to the Hot Seat. I honestly don't know how anyone can get up there and think of anything more complicated than their name!

LOL....DH said he was very nervous. He had one question that basically asked what seven plus one is. He counted on his fingers to double check! And he's an accountant!!!!!!!

That is exactly how i would be. I can't think straight if all eyes are on me for an answer to even the simplest questions.

Congratulations. What was the question that he missed on?

I have been on the hot seat seven times now and it is a blast each time you get up there. On our trip over labor day weekend, my DW and I played several rounds with Jonathon Sullivan who is a past million point winner and his lovely wife.

WWTBAM-PI is one of my favorite attractions and no trip to WDW is complete without a trip to the hot seat.

SPEED baby, it's all about the SPEED! You have to be lightning fast on the buttons.
I got into the hot seat just a month ago & now I'm obsessed with getting back to try again! It's surreal!

I got pretty high on the audience score list once, but never made it to the hotseat. Probably just as well since as a Disney employee, I'm not eligible for the big prizes anyhow.
