My DH started feeling bad at the end of February. Went to the Dr for his allergies and dizzyness on 3/4. Got meds for the allergies and the Dr thought the dizzyness would go away. 2 weeks later he went back. They gave him meds for Vertigo to help with the nausea and an antibiotic, then sent him for a CT scan, came back ok and sent him to an ears, nose etc. Dr. This Dr thinks it is not his innerear, he thinks it is something else and is sending him for an ENG on Monday and a MRI on Tuesday evening. Here are his symptoms: constant dizzyness (not spinning) at times worse than others, off balance, numb mouth with no taste, sometimes blurred vision, gets tired easily and losing strength. He is still working 10 hour days, but is wore out when he gets home. He is a very hard worker and this is really getting him down. Is anyone one familiar with any of this, please share and please keep us in your prayers. Thank you!

** We went to the Dr. today and he said that the test results does show it is MS. We are making an appointment with a neurologist. The Dr said we needed to get DH in right away which frightens me even further because I am afraid this is progressing too quickly. He also has the aching muscles and numbness occasionally in his arms. He went to our general medical Dr 6 weeks ago for allergies and dizzyiness and now he is stumbling everywhere. Prayers please....

*****5/26 went to our appointment with the neurologists today, finally because DH has been feeling worse int he last few days with the muscle aches, etc. After a few minutes she tells us that DH is at a progressive point and that she is putting him in the hospital today to give him meds to slow down the contrast enhancing legions. This is all happening so fast. Hopefully after a few days he will get to go home feeling a lot better and he can start his regular meds routine. She seems very optimistic so we hope and pray that he will feel somewhat better for now.

I will keep your husband in my prayers. Please keep us posted?

Have they mentioned MS or ruled that out?

I would also wonder about MS. ...Can he take some time off or cut back his hours to get some rest?
Hope he feels better soon!

I'll keep him in my prayers.

hi, i also started off with the symptoms you have decribed and have also had the same tests done, i went the same route ear nose and throat consultant also virtigo ruled out i then went to see a neurologist, i have now been diagnosed with epilepsy i am not saying that this is also what your dh has, but it might be worth asking your doctors opinion about this, if you have any questions feel free to pm me, will help any way i can susie

Lots of prayers. Hope you get answers soon, and that everything is okay!!

Sounds alot like me. I have MS. In the beginning I had the dizziness really bad, and went through all the same stuff. The inner ear thing was suspected at first, but later found to be OK. Then I started getting numbness, which prompted my doctor to send me to a neurologist. I was diagnosed with the MS shortly after.

Please tell you DH to hang in there. The waiting and wondering is often the most difficult thing. You almost start to doubt your own sanity. I'll be saying a prayer for him that this is resolved soon. :hug:

Thank you so much for sharing and for your prayers. You all are a wonderful group!!!!! I will let you know when we find out more.

We go back to the Dr on Monday for the results of the ENG and the MRI. The ENG did show some issues with is right inner ear, so we will wait and see. The warm weather is taking its toll on him. Keep us in your prayers and I will give you an update on Monday, thanks!

I missed this the other day, Littlehero'smommy. I sure have your hubby in my prayers, my very best for him. Hope those MRI results prove something mionor and eaily taken care of. :hug:

I am an audiologist and I work for an ENT doing testing including ENG's so I would be happy to answer any questions you have. Just PM me. Good luck and try not to worry too much. Dizziness can be caused by many many different things. Lots of them are not serious and will resolve with time on their own.

Thanks, Littlehero'smommy, again for the update. Know well many people live very well and nicely with MS, oftentimes just a condition, no problems with proper care. My best as you guys go forward, he is in my prayers, along with you. My best. :hug:'s

My prayers are with you and your DH. With some steroids he may improve quite a bit. {{{Hugs}}}

What a nightmare. I am so sorry your dh is going through this and he is in my prayers.
