We are keeping her!!! Yay!!!! My dh started to pet her a little bit and agreed that she is nowhere near as bad as the last dog we owned.

He still doesn't want to help too much with her but I think she is growing on him.

I have decided that I love this doggy and I will do everything I can to keep her. It's more work but she is worth it. She has been great the past couple of days.

My DH finally said that should go ahead & adopt her so the decision gets made & I don't worry about it anymore!!!!

I was soooo afraid of his reaction to her if she was bad but after listening to people here on the boards, I decided that he will get used to her and I should just ignore him when he gets mad at the dog.

I am very happy, thanks to all of you & your terrific advice!!!

YAY! What a lucky dog to be adopted by you!

Remember my post -- it may not be a smooth road at first but it will all work out in the end. Our lab is truly one of the family now.

I read your other post and I'm so glad to hear you are keeping her!!!

Good Luck!!:D

it will work out.we got our little SAM SAM from the animal shelter, and let me tell you he was a terror for the first month or so and now he is WONDERFUL.

I AM SO SO SO HAPPY YOU ARE KEEPING HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have made my night! She deserves your family!!

I am also glad you are keeping her. I was going through the same thing with my 2 kittens. I have never had cats before. I bought these two for my boyfriend and when we broke up he couldn't take them. Over the past couple of weeks I have been debating on whether to keep them or not. Sometimes they drive me CRAZY! Well tonight one of the kittens got out and ran down the sidewalk. It was dark out and he is all black. I kept calling his name and he finally came back to me. I was so worried! I decided then and there that I really care for them more than I thought and I am going to keep them.

Hopefully your dog will grow out of some of the things it is doing to annoy you, as I hope my kittens do. It sounds like she has a good home with a loving family and I'm sure it will all work out for everyone. :D

I was so hoping that you would keep her too! I was reading your other post, and while understanding your dilemma, I thought your DH would come around, esp. since he stopped you from taking her back the first time. I think with some love from all of you, she will become a great addition to your family!

I'm happy to hear that Joanne, and if you ever need some more advice, I know that people are more than happy to give it. ;) :teeth:

Just as you are getting used to her, she is getting used to you and her new family. Be patient. It will work out. :D
