I have searched for answers and can't find them:
What is the baggage allowance for the ship? How many checked bags and how many carry on bags per person? Also the big one for DH (drumroll) What kind of beer is on tap on the Magic? DH doesn't drink "normal" beer lol. We will be on the Magic ( Western) Sept. 19-26, 2009 for our delayed honeymoon. :bride:

As far as the luggage, DCL sends 2 luggage tags per person. However, I don't think they limit the number of pieces you can bring on board. As far as carry-ons, you can bring as many as you want to lug around until your room is ready or as much luggage as you want to store in your stateroom. Unlike the airlines, DCL does not have weight limits, size limits or number limits on luggage.

Sorry, hope somebody else can help with the beer.

I know there is Guinness on tap in Diversions. It's the only place on the ship that has it on tap, otherwise you have to get it in a can.

I know they have Bud Light, Stella, Amber Bock, and Yuengling (although they are not the same in every place).

Tell DH about the beer mugs... you buy the mug and each time you refill (tap) you get a 20 oz beer for the price of a 16 oz... and you keep the mug at the end...

2 bags per person - you can carry on whatever, but like the above posters have stated... you must be able to bring them with you until your room is ready around 1:30 or so...

Make sure you do have a day bag with you that holds everything you will need until your luggage arrives... including meds, and also clothes for dinner (casual) because although they are really good at getting your luggage to you as soon as they can, if you have early dining, you may find it in your stateroom when you get back...

You can only get Yuengling (my personal favorite) at Diversions. You can get Stella Artois, Amber Bock, Bud Light, Guiness, Michelob Ultra etc. on Deck 9, at the restaurants, and at the Promenade Lounge and Rockin Bar D in addition to Diversions.

One night at dinner, DH was able to order Sam Adams on tap - but it was not available later in the week.

We got into the habit of stopping by Diversions just before our dinner seating and taking our beer with us to dinner - that way, we could get the brand we wanted and didn't have to wait 10-15 minutes for our drinks to arrive.

Good question. That's great to hear they have Yuengling.

Does anyone know if Sierra Nevada is available?
