Hi, DS (21) and I will be joining DH for a four night / three day Orlando stay at Royal Pacifica Nov. 12 - 16, as DH is attending a four day conference there. I heard that we can get an early entry perk and FOL pass as a hotel guest perk at the parks. Do note that it's a been there, done that, bought the T-shirt excursion for us, as we've been before, seen all the Harry Potter stuff, etc. but the parks are nice and are kind of hard to pass up for one day at least since we are right there.

Anyway, my actual question is how do those perks work and can my nephew who is 22 and lives and works in Orlando do the early entry with DS and/or the FOL passes with DS? Do I need to put my nephew on our hotel reservation and give him his own key for this to happen or can I just let him use my key? I'm not all that keen on doing that many of the rides, but would enjoy walking around with the guys, having lunch there with them, seeing a few of the shows if we do any etc., so if it's a key thing he can use mine. My nephew has a season pass too and has been to the place a lot (worked Halloween Horror nights two seasons as a park time gig too before getting a full time job in his field) and on other stays to Orlando has even gotten us discount tickets to the parks when we went with him.

Our dates for our stay by the way are Nov. 12-16, so I guess if all of that is just too complicated it's probably not that horribly busy. Just seems a shame to not let DS use that early entry and FOL pass, but hanging with his cousin at the parks probably trumps that. In past visits we went at non busy times and it really and truly was no big deal not to have those perks.

Your room key is not your EP anymore.

When you check in everyone who is registered to your room gets a room key with their name on it. You take them to a booth in the lobby area and enter the key and get your picture taken.

You are then issued with a paper EP with your name and picture on it. No one else can use it bar you.

More than 2 adults per room will add a $25 per night per adult charge also. 18 and over is classed as an adult.

UO went with the photo ID ep to prevent others from buying or borrowing a room card to get free hotel ep

Like schumi posted, he would have to be added to your room and registered to create the photo ID ep pass

You would only be paying the $25 more per night with your son added to the ressie
With the nephew it will be an additional $25 per night stay

To use EE each person needs their own hotel card to enter early
