My DH, who is in pilot training with the Air Force, got his first call sign last night! (Think Maverick from Top Gun.) The naming ceremony is actually interesting -- the person leaves the room, his classmates call out suggestions -- some very rauncy, of course 
-- then the person has an option of drinking off some of the names or bribing the "mayors" to get a name he wants.
DH was given the lovely name of Billy Madison (Billy for short) last night as his call sign. Apparently his classmates make fun of his little applesauce containers and juice boxes he brings in for lunch. (I haven't seen the movie, so I don't really know...) He had to drink four shots of some nasty whiskey (Johnny Walker and Jeremiah Weed) to get it.
