DH gift to me

I have been talking about getting a digital camera w/DH (who is electronicly challenged). I told him that I was doing a little research and think I know what I want - but I'm not sure. He went out today and bought me a HP Photosmart 935. That's not a brand that I was even considering. I felt so bad and ungreatful, but I had to tell him that's not what I wanted Luckily he doesn't have a problem with me returning it and getting what I want - which I think is the Nikon Coolpix 3100.

If you're considering the Nikon line, jump to the Coolpix 4300. It has a few more mp and a few more features. Most importantly, it uses a proprietary L-Ion battery. The 2100/3100 models eat AA's - a lot of them. The L-ions last forever. Get a spare and you'll never get caught with a dead camera.

Awww, what a sweet hubby! He tried so hard to please you.

You are going to love digital photography. It's very freeing to be able to shoot and shoot and shoot, then just delete the non-keepers right away. No more waiting for just the right shot and trying not to waste film!

Gotta give him an "A" for effort!!!!!!!!!!
One year, I bought DW an onyx ring for Christmas (yes, something black for Christmas!). She asked me where I got that idea. It floored her that I had remembered her saying that she some day (I guess not Christmas, though) wanted an onyx ring.

Buzzlady...... Us DH's mean well. We just don't know exactly how to say it. Kind of like a dog who goes to fetch a stick, but instead brings back part of your landscaping!

Yes, DH really tries. It was the thought that counts. Luckily we have a relationship that I don't have to worry about telling him that it wasn't exactly what I wanted. He would rather that I got the one that I really want.
