DH is convinced that Epcot is making him sick and he has now written Disney a letter...notice the "reply" I have sent back to him on Disney's behalf! LOL
Cast Member,
My wife and I were recent guests at WDW during the week of May 8th - 12th. We stayed at Saratoga Springs and are Vacation Club members. We always have a wonderful time when we vacation at your resort, but I have a concern that you may or not be able to answer. The last three trips down to your resort I have returned with an upper respitory infection. We vacationed in the first of February 2005 and stayed at The Beach Club Villas, February 2006 we again stayed at the Beach Club Villas, and our most recent trip was May 2006 we stayed at Saratoga Springs. Each time I visit EPCOT in the World Showcase area for dinner, I start to get a sore throat during or after dinner and then begin to get sinus pressure later in the trip, and when I return home, I have to see a doctor and get an antibiotic to clear it up. The only common thing I can find is that it seems to happen at the World Showcase area of EPCOT and after we have dinner there. We have tried three different restaurants, Le Cellar, Restaurant Marrakesh and the Rose and Crown, and I get the same results from all of them. Have you had any other guests complain of similar symptoms?
Your comments would be appreciated and hopefully you can be of some assistance in helping us find the cause of this. Thank you!

Here is my response...
Dear Mr. Notmyname,
This is very common problem guests have when visiting the World Showcase at Epcot. The only known cure available is to continue to visit Walt Disney World to help build up your immune system. Recent studies have shown that this could possibly be a side effect of another common disease amongst Vacation Club members called Add-onitis. The only known treatment to date is the purchase of additional Vacation Club points at your favorite resort. At this time Add-onitis is incurable and even though a vaccine has been invented, it has not tested well in clinical studies. Please contact your Guide for additional information.
Sincerely,
Walt Disney World Guest Relations
