DH Finished the Boston Marathon!

Just so happy for DH. He finished the Boston Marathon 3:32:15. This is really great for him since he's a CPA and really wasn't able to train the way he usually does for a marathon. Can't wait to talk to him.

I was so excited that we were able to view it on TV down here in Florida. I'm not now, nor have never been, a runner but I love the Boston Marathon! You can take the girl out of Boston but you can't take Boston out of the girl.

And what a race!! A new Boston record not to mention that the USA is making a comeback finishing third, fourth and fifth.

Kudos to your DH for even attempting such a feat. I get tired driving 26 miles.

Just talked to DH and he is pretty pumped. Even though he had registered he wasn't sure until Saturday night that he would be able to go (work)!

Congrats to your hubby!! It is really amazing and inspiring to watch the people that run this race. I miss when I used to be able to walk outside and see them going by--my old apt. was right before the final mile marker. The Boston marathon is great--and the Red Sox won today too!!

WOW! That is quite a feat!!! I have been watching the coverage all day and year after year those runners amaze me. I run daily, but I cannot even comprehend what doing 26.2 miles must be like.
