DH is not a Disney person. We went last Feb. He put on a happy face for the kids. We did have a good time. When the kids & I started talking about going back again, DH said he did not want to go. DH told me to ask my mom to go with me and the kids. He wants us to go and fun. He just doesn't want to go. So, I called and asked my mom. She loves Disney and said yes. We are all looking forward to our vacation.
After our next trip, I will probably wait a couple of years to plan another trip. I think I will try to look into Fort Wilderness cabins and see if DH is up to it!
By the way, we go on a couple of trips every year. So, we will still have some kind of family vacation.
For us, it is the best of both worlds.

Anyway, when I can squeeze a 2nd trip in one year my DH refuses to go, he always went but hated to do it, of course until he got there, then he loves it. But 2 years ago, a few family members were going it would be our 2nd trip and he started again he wasn't going I wanted to go for 2weeks and he didn't. So I told him I was taking the kids and he could join me later. I was leaving a week earlier then him. I made all the reservations, bought the tickets and went. 2 days into the trip I get a call from my DH he couldn't take it any longer, I had to change his ticket to get him to Disney sooner. It cost me $200.00 to do that.
