DH does not share the Disney love

Try to get a room in the Hospitality area if possible at OKW.

We don't want anything to go wrong with DH with a long walk to "town". Unless you will have a car.

Don't set the alarm....get up....have a nice relaxing morning....in fact....have a nice relaxing 2 days...He might love it.

BTW....Your DH probably dosen't want to know....or need to know the cost of your vacations if you can afford it:rolleyes1

Yes, we are getting a dedicated 2BR near Hospitality House in OKW. Also, the first day is a no park day since we're coming from the cruise (pool, DTD), day 2 is MK. For this trip we are going to Universal and IOA so we are moving hotels after 2 days.

The only wway for him not to know the cost of our vacations is if I pay for it  Otherwise, he'll know! :teacher:

Ok....Don't overwhelm him at Universal either.....he will remember the "theme park rush" as one.

Ahem......I see your working on the "need to know basis";)
Happy planning

Going without him really is the best solution. Enjoy the time with your kids. And now that you own, you really will be going more often, which ultimately means you really don't have to spend everyday going into the parks. Utilize the resort, enjoy the pool, go mini golfing. We have 2 sons and thankfully my husband loves Disney and wants to go every year....I have converted him. :rotfl: Anyway, we spend only 2 of the days that we go in the actual parks (still working off of a park hopper we bought 5 years ago). Ask any child and they will tell you that the pool was the best part!

Have fun planning and enjoy.

Go on your own and let him cook for himself. While you may enjoy Disney, the real treat is for the kids and if he does not want to be with the kids, he will only be a dwarf - Grumpy.

Actually your hubby may be like my DWs family - 18 of them go to lake george every summer and stay in a run down shack - no AC, no TV, no telephone. They also believe spending more than $1000for a week is outrageous. My DW goes but I never go with them as I don't like to stay in a rathole (yes I'm a vacation snob). Two of their kids are in the same school band which sent them to Disney last year $1000 each, to play music for two days. It killed the parents to spend that much money. They would never go to Disney. Lifes too short to pass up on the fun stuff.
