Can you rent the summer house for a few fall weekends to make up teh difference in price and appease your husband?

The house is our weekend house. We live in NYC in an apt and go to the house every weekend. It's not a beach/vacation type house. We'd never rent it out.

I've decided to ask friends of ours along since they also have a son the same age as mine. Whichever resort has two rooms available we'll go with. BWI or WL.

I'm not going to drive myself crazy over this. This won't be our last trip!

We had our first family trip to WDW in May and loved the WL. The boat to MK is large enough that you can roll the stroller on. If you take the smaller launch to the CR, you have to fold up the stroller. Anyway, thought the resort was great and always caught a boat to MK within 5 minutes and often waited much less than that. I always thought I would prefer the monorail resorts, but the WL is so affordable it is hard to imagine staying elsewhere. Besides, now I prefer boat transportation to the monorail. The boats always seemed cooler and less crowded--no standing. As far as an Epcot resort, I think we will do those when our boys, 2 and 5, are older. Just seems like a longer trip to the MK and we definitely spent most of our time there.
