Dh clothes shop or you shop for him?

DH hates to shop for clothes. He needs new shirts for our trip!!
I think I'm going to have to go and buy some things and see which ones are a go and which ones are no. The man also has 2 pairs of shorts!!

Does your dh shop for himself or do you do it and then return things??

I shop for all of his clothes except shoes.

He wears anything I buy that fits. If I left him to do it on his own, I'm not sure what he would be wearing. Before I married him, his mother dressed him. I do a much better job. Other than this flaw, he's perfect (at least to me).

Either I buy things for him or we go together. I know well enough what he'll wear (and what I like him to wear) that nothing ever gets returned. My mom buys us lots of gift cards for Christmas and our birthdays. When DH says he needs clothes, we look through our stash of cards and see where we're going to shop!

He basically picks out his own stuff. He has really great taste... he usually picks out my clothes for me... normally stuff that I wouldn't even look at at places like TJ Maxx etc, but love when I try it on. mostly tops, sweaters. I'm really picky about my jeans and pants.

I use to buy all his clothes. Then he just stopped wearing what I bought for some reason. I bought him like 4 or 5 shirts that have now become my night shirts. So he needed some shirts for Disney I went shopping but didnt buy him anything. Made him go so he could get what he would wear!!!

I buy everything he needs. He will tell me "I need some new work pants, or I need some new shirts", etc. I do the shopping. I don't think he has bought anything for himself in 10 years.

As for the sizing he is pretty standard so its very unusual to have something not fit.

Thankfully my husband does most of his own shopping. Of course, I'll buy him stuff from time to time, but he prefers to buy his own stuff. No arguments from me since he's pretty good at picking out the stuff.

I generally shop for him. He really hates to shop and I love it. It works out well for us.

I shop for him. If he shopped he would buy nothing but blue and orange. He just says "thanks".

I shop for him - I rarely return, since he's an average size. I think he shopped for himself a few times, one time for a suit! Not only was it ugly, but it looked almost the same as another one of his suits.

I do all the shopping in our house. I try to make mental notes of what DH says he likes, so we really never have to return things. If it was up to him, he'd still be wearing clothes from 1998, complete with holes and stains.

I shop for him. The only thing he buys is his shoes.

But Dh is easy: jean shorts or jeans, T-shirts w/ fishing or hunting or outdoors stuff on them, dress shirts must be black and white, black jeans.

My husband has great taste! He wears suits to work, so he shops for those on his own - they have to be tailored, and the prices make me woozy, lol. I shop for his casual stuff, just because it's easier - he's not picky about t-shirts and such.

Hubby works at amazon, where the dress code only goes as fancy as what Bezos wears, which is khakis and a polo shirt (I call it the Blockbuster-uniform). Hubby does not go that fancy.

So for shirts, I just buy them online.

For shorts, he has to try stuff on, so we usually go shopping as a family, and if he needs more I can pick up more later on.

And everything, er, in between, I just buy when he says he needs things.

DH shops for himself. And he shops a lot. Even my DS is already a shopper and has been since he was tiny. A couple weekends ago, we got up on a weekend morning and I asked him (he's 4) what we should do that day and he said, "Let's go to J. Crew!" We spend a lot of quality family time (and money) at J. Crew - they know us by name there.
