DH can't go. What to do with his linked ticket?

DH just told me he can't go with us on the 30th. I bought his ticket weeks ago, linked it and made FP reservations. Should I leave it linked to him until a time when he, or someone else can use it?

It can be transferred to anyone you like.
Just add that person to your MDX account and transfer the ticket to that person.

(Or the ticket can be held for a future trip.)

I knew you had this, Robo. And now that DH can't go, DS says he doesn't want to go. Looks like a girls only trip for me and DD for this New Year's Eve and perhaps in 2019.

How can I do that? I'll get their Magic Bands this week and have the FP reservations. I thought they had to scan their bands for admission in order for FP to work.

Nope.
Not with FP+.

You can keep the currently-booked FP+ for those tickets, or make different ones.
And/or book additional FP+, day-of.

I did just this a few days ago, so it still works, but because it's against Disney policy to use a ticketed magic band for fast passes that hasn't been used to get into the park, this thread will probably be deleted.
