We will be at WDW for my DH birthday and I want to do something fun and special. It's easy to figure out stuff for the kids, but anybody celebrated a man's birthday(husband, boyfriend, father, etc.) while they were there. We are scheduled to be at Studios that day, but we can go somewhere else. We do have a car so even something around Disney would be fine. TIA

There are several things that come to mind for your DH. First, make sure you stop at Guest Relations and get him a Birthday button. All of the parks have them. It usually says "Today is my Birthday", and the CMs usually say HB to the wearer. I've heard some people who have said some CMs were extra nice and let the wearer in the front row of rides, etc. At the restaurants, sometimes they will do something if you want them to. At Mama Melrose's, they staff sand HB to one wearer. It was great to see their face!

Whatever you decide, have a GREAT trip, and an early HB to your DH!

I celebrated a birthday at WDW two weeks ago. My DH and I did the Segway Tour at Epcot on my birthday which I thought was a really fun birthday activity. My DH really enjoys this tour (it was our second time) so it might appeal to your DH.

Also, I picked up a birthday button at Guest Relations that morning when we checked in for the Segway tour. After the tour we had lunch at Chefs de France. As we were finishing our lunch, several waiters came into the dining room carrying a dessert with a birthday candle in it and singing a birthday song in French. I started looking around the restaurant thinking that someone else had the same birthday as me, and their family had arranged for a special dessert for them. To my great surprise, they came over to our table and presented me with a delicious chocolate dessert! My DH said he had nothing to do with it, so I assume it was all due to the birthday button. It was a great surprise and really made my day.

We finished our day with a nice dinner at the California Grill where we had a table with a view of the castle and the fireworks. Our server told me they had some sort of cake she could offer as a free birthday dessert, but I had my heart set on the Chocolate Lava Cake which was not an option, but which I was more than happy to pay for.

Don't know if any of these things will appeal to your DH, but my DH and I really enjoyed ourselves!

Thanks all. So adults wear the bday button too huh. I don't know if DH will wear one but I can try.

Yup, I wore one several days last week. The other thing I recommend you looking into is "Dine with a Disney Imagineer" which is a four course lunch ($75 w/tip and tax) or dinner ($120 w/tip and tax) at the Brown Derby with up to 7 people and a Disney Imagineer for about two hours where you get to hear stories, ask questions, learn inside info. I did it last Friday and it was incredible, the high point of my trip!

We celebrated DH's birthday last November, and did most of the things mentioned above! We did the Segway tour, Lunch with an Imagineer, and Sunrise Safari. On his actual birthday, we were at the MK, and he wore the button (much to my surprise and delight). We had dinner at Narcoossee's, window table, and I ordered a special dessert (tuxedo strawberries and Cinderella slippers). After dinner, we went to PI for a few hours. It was funny, because when it got cold enough to put on a sweatshirt, he unpinned the birthday button from his shirt and put it on his sweatshirt. :)

He said it was the best birthday ever, and this year we're going for mine!

Other fun things, depending on what he likes, might be parasailing, a fishing excursion and the Richard Petty Driving Experience. I've heard wonderful things about them.
