DH AND DW with no kids

We are in the final stages of planning our trip. This was a trip that was not happening this year. Flights were too much, oldest is in school so tough for grandparents to pick up, could not work out dates, in general not happening. We were sad becuase we have become addicted to food and wine fest and having our yearly couple trip to WDW. Then magic started to happen. I get a free round trip ticket on a flight for business, I have enough credits for a free one way, and DW sister has a free one way ticket, flights just became zero dollars. We would still need to have someplace to stay and trying to get a DVC room at Boardwalk would be hard only 3 months out. We call and no rooms at Boardwalk but we can do a studio at OKW. We take it and hope for BW. Call back in the next few weeks and suddenly we have not only a room at BW for 2 of the 3 nights of our stay but our favorite BW view room. Still working on the third night but still feeling pretty lucky to get two. One more reason not to go out of way. Grandpa is retired and says it is not a problem to drive oldest 20 minutes each way to school, he will just golf later in the day. We make ressie for hotel and hope we ccan work free plane tickets around them. What do you know it works out perfect exept we did PFTS last year and woudl like to do it again but we will find something esle special for this trip (more later). Free hotel, free airfare, cheap other hotel, but we can do magical express because our firtst night is a non disney hotel. Rats!
Now we need a car, through the wonders of the internet, DW obtains a deall for $100 from Alamo and we pre pay so no waitng in line with our late flight in Saturday. Hope in the car, chekc out and off the hotel. Nice job DW.
We have spent a total of $150 dollars for this trip, which we are pleased with but how we will eat and enjoy food and wine fest when we get there. Well DW has been socking back some cash in the vacation fund and for my birthday I get $150 WDW gift card for the trip. I am a football official and have been able to pick up games everynight this week, bringing in another $300 for disney. We sudenly have money for Disney. Now what can we do special?
We have always wanted to do a wishes cruise and wanted to scout one out for our extended family trip in July (16 people). There is no way anyone has anything open on the dis boards this late in the game. I lurk for few days make some posts and suddenly, PM from DoBug. They have three openings if we are interested Alright call DW to she if she wants to get the details and bam, wishes cruise-thanks DoBug.
We will be flying out on Saturday night and arriving late in Orlando. We pricelined a hotel for that nihgt and got right on hotel drive for $50. All it needs is to have a clean bed to sleep in and be ready to hit Food and Wine Fest the next day. Thinking of doing MNSSHP, but we have done it twice before so may not but who knows we may. Not sure when I will pack, may ask DW. the kids are out of school the next two days and home with Dad while he works hard to be able to go. Still need to take the disney change jar into the bank and pick up travel toileties and I promised to take the kids to the pumpkin patch on Friday. Lots of work before we leave but so looking forward to relaxing
