I'm doing a split stay (1st time) at DGC & DLH April 28th - May 4th
Family group of 6 adults (55 yrs-86 yrs young).
Going for Dapper Days, plus its a 1st visit to Disneyland for some our group.
I'm the planner and "guide" for our group.
Aug I'll be there with GDD 6 & 8yrs old.

What tours or activities have you enjoyed doing at DGC & DLH ?
Special area's to make sure we see.
Is there an area to see WOC or DL Fireworks for resort guests ?

Special area's of interest / history related to see ?

I've heard there is a "daily itinerary". Is this posted or are you given a copy of it at check in ?

Thanks for your help !

If you find yourself looking for a quiet spot to eat (it can be a hectic vacation) we love the outdoor seating tables at Whitewater Snacks in the Grand Cal. When we were there it was a very peaceful and relaxing spot to grab bite from Whitewater and chill next to foliage in the DCA park.

Terrific !
Thank you.
Adding that to my notes.

You may have already found some answers, but yes you are given a resort schedule at check in. We have yet to take advantage of the hotel tours, but I hear they're great. The outdoor movies are always popular with my girls (not sure that they will have the same appeal for grown ups, but who knows!). I recommend reserving a cabana at the DLH pool one afternoon. It really makes for an enjoyable pool day (after park time in the AM). We prefer the cabanas up by the waterslides, but maybe one along the main pools would be preferable for adults? I don't know, I'm a kid at heart so would probably enjoy watching the monorail waterslides fun even if my girls weren't with me.

At DLH make sure you plan to hang out at Trader Sam's one evening. Dining/drinking inside is fun I'm sure, but we actually prefer to sit outside in the warm evenings. We like to sit by the outdoor fireplace to unwind too.

At GCH make sure you find out when the pianist plays in the lobby to sit and listen at least once. I recommend doing a drink and small bite in both the Hearthstone and Napa Rose lounges. You can dine in NR too of course, but we actually prefer taking less time and doing the lounge. We like dining in Storytellers Cafe for both the character breakfast (food is good and adults will enjoy IMO) and for dinner. Good menu.

It's geared towards kids of course, but we love the How to Draw clinic they do at Pinnochio's Workshop. We learned to draw Mickey last time, and it was really fun.

You'll have a fab time! :)

I forgot to mention (if you like cats), the outdoor seating area at Whitewater Snacks is supposed to be near the feeding station for Disney's feral cats. Supposedly it is a good spot to watch for them. We never saw a cat there yet, (although we did see a cat at Tang. Terrace, and at cat at Big Thunder). You can't touch them, but they are cute.

Fabulous !
Love all the tips.

The How to Draw sounds fun.
The cabanas and dining all sound great. I appreciate it all.
Updating my notes.

Looking forward to trying new things.
Thank you

Great !
I've heard about the cats. But have never seen them. I'll keep an eye out for them at Whitewater Snacks.
Thank you
