I booked my intimate wedding last month for May 20th, 2006 and was told that there could be up to 20 guests without any extra costs other than more champagne. The sales assistant also told me that they are not sure the officiant will be included in next years packages. On the bright side, the intimate add-on package was still only $2350 US. :cool1:

You are so lucky to have a price to work to for your intimate wedding package of $2350,could you please tell me who your co-ordinator is as ours can't even give us a price for February 2006 so we can't budget.
Many Thanks

I was told that children are counted in your number as guest. Even those under 3, who are free everywhere else.
Because of this if all my family who have invited themselves come to our vr next year then we'll have to find out about inroom childcare for 5 children. I hate to say it, but I'm really hoping that some of them don't come. LOL

YIPPEEE !!!

This made my day. Now what id I dont want champane. Can i get 2 bottles of cider for the champne rpice I wonder??

Also what about pop for my guest that is something else I can think of instead of champane. No one in my family drinks so this is the off the wall question :)

kegafford- I'm getting married in December of this year so things may have changed. But i'm exchanging my one bottle of champagne for 2 bottles of sparkling cider. And I was quoted I think a $1.25 per glass of soda, so this seemed a better option since I have a 9 year old so I'd of had to get her non alcholic as per Disney's requirement.

Hope this helps.

I'm so glad to hear the number has changed as we are starting to plan our intimate wedding for next fall/winter. Is the wedding party counted as guests? So for me, DF, 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen, then could we have 20 additional people, or could we only have 10 additional people? Also, what is the additional cost per person? Did someone say $100? Why would it be that high if you still have to pay extra for the cake and champagne for those people? Intimates don't include a dinner, right? So what would the extra $100/person be covering? Also, is there any limit to how many people you can have at an intimate before they make you do a custom? Thanks for the help, I'm new at this, so sorry if these are questions that are frequently asked and answered.

I am having an intimate wedding in November and I can tell you that it is 20 people total including you and groom, so you can have your 4 bridesmaids, groosman and 10 other people. There is no charge for the guests, it used to be I think up to 15 people and then a $100 charge for the next 5, but they changed that this summer and now it is free except you have to pay extra for more champange. I was told the cake that comes with the package will be enough for 20 people. So I believe if you go over 20 people including you and groom you have to go with a custom. Also as of now there is no meal including in the price but they can help out with making arrangments for a meal if you like. My fiance's parents wanted a meal so they are paying and my wedding co-ordinator is making the arrangments. Hope this helps some. I did read somewhere on this board that this might be changing with the 2006 packages, you are going to have to pay for you own officiant now along with resort room and tickets (this used to be included in the package). All you can do is wait till the 2006 package comes out and call the FTW department and ask.

I'm so confused :confused3 I was wondering if any of you in the previous posts, or anyone else, were specifically told the change of accomodating up to 20 didn't include Sunset Pointe? I booked my intimate for April 2005 in May and was told, "good news, the intimate now includes up to 20 guests". Invitations have been ordered, people have made travel plans. Now we were contacted since the 2006 packages have been finalized and were told we can only have 10 total at Sunset Pointe. I was wondering if anyone else is in this delima. Thanks
