DFTW items: Spoiler Alert!

I read on the Disney FTW website that it mentions for the couple a set of engraved DFTW watches and wondered what they were like... are they nice? Cheap? Haven't heard anyone mention them yet... wondered if they still do them or not... here's the link where I saw them mentioned, scroll down a bit:

The reason that no one mentions them is that in the past they were supposed to be a surprise for Wishes couples, like the annual passes—interesting that Disney now lists them as a selling point for having a Disney wedding! They are still included with weddings.

Yes Escape Brides get them as well.

They give them to you at the reception.

We got them as well last year with the Escape wedding, and they were a surprise. I agree with the poster above - our planner must have slipped the bag in with the gifts from our guests because we didn't see them until the next day when we were going through everything!

Ours were on our sweetheart table. They are pretty nice, much nicer than I expected. We haven't worn them yet but maybe we will on our upcoming trip.

DH & I received a pair when we had our VR in April. I had read about them on the boards but did not mention anything to DH - so it was a surprise for him. Actually it was a surprise for me too because I had forgotten about the watches!

They are really nice and nice quality too. First thing out of DH's mouth was - "these will NOT be going on ebay!"

Mickey and Minnie gave us ours at our Escape wedding in April 2010. They made us cover our eyes then presented them to us, it was a really cool suprise.

just curious i saw the first poster mentioned engraved watches. was anyone's engraved? we got them at our cake ceremony for our escape wedding and they weren't engraved that i know of.

Also, (and I know the following items are to buy...) I know of a few DFTW items available like the cake cutters/serving utensils and the toasting flutes, is there anything else that Disney offers?

I wish there was a necklace or something that Disney offered or could make/personalize for exclusive Disney brides. I love the watches that they do, but I am more of a necklace girl. Any ideas of something I could grab or make to celebrate the event of being a Disney bride?

That's a good question... do they still engrave them? And, if so, what do they say?

Ours have Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings engraved on the back, but that's it. We weren't given the option to have anything else engraved on them.

Our are just engraved on the back as well with the Disney's Fairytale Weddings logo. We had an Escape wedding as well and received them, ours were in a bag with our other wedding stuff that our planner sent back to our room while we were at our desert party. I wear mine every day and the only thing is there are these small metal ball things around the face and half of them have popped out (but I work with my hands using heavy machinery and lifting stuff so I'm hard on mine). DH wore his every day too before he lost some weight and needs to have some links taken out.
