I realized that I never put a picture of Cassidy in the first page of our PTR. We had a wonderful session done with Amici Photography through a wonderful organization called Inspiration Through Art. So I wanted to included that, I put it on our intro page today.

The last two pictures in our intro to Devon taken by Joanne at Amici Photography in conjunction with Inspiration Through Art.

I recommend all wish families, and any other family that has a child with a life altering or chronic illness or diagnoses that otherwise doesn't qualify for MAW to apply. They have a listing on their website on the apply section on a short list (but they are not the only illnesses, my son's wasn't and he still qualified). They match families with photographers who are willing to donate their time for a free session of family photography. It varies on what a photographer will donate about the sitting fee. Joanne gave us a fully edited cd with copy right given to us of 46 images.

Her blog of our time with her is here. So it you live in Indiana* or live her in AZ and either qualify for ITA or just want some great photos, talk to her.

I am happy to pass the word along. The length of time to be approved as increased to weed out scammers, and then once they approve you they will send you a password to the photographer list.

That is fantastic! I did make a mistake though. She is really located in IN. I am going to have to edit my other post.

Yea, I noticed that. I did find someone not to far from my house, so hopefully she is good. I like the pictures on her website. Question: I noticed that she took pictures of your DD as well. Was that included in the program or did you have to pay for her sitting fee? TIA

It was the whole family, most of the photos were of the kids individual and together, a handful of family shots, and one of me and my husband. We didn't have to pay dime towards anything other the cost of printing them up as she gave us a cd of images.

It really is a family experience, because even though it is just one child in the family that is ill, the whole family is affected.

joining in our your PTR fun, you will love being in GKTW (I got to visit our friends there in Oct) its an amazing place.......saw this posted earlier, any guests get one free meal at the Gingerbreak house, after that its $5.00 each. they make all guest feel very welcome and we got to enjoy the pool and Mayor Clayton's birthday party!

I don't know. He is finding out next week when he is going. We are having a little party to both celebrate his one year since his AVM rupture and to check off a requirement of his Wolf Scout. So he invited his wish grantor and his wish coordinator. I figured if we have to tell him soon, we might as well do it at the party right?

Those boxes taunted me all day long. I wanted to open them, but the kids would have been soo mad.

This is from Dis member sgarrity and family. Cc got a Minnie Mouse and a Fairy calender. Dev got a Mickey Mouse and glow sticks!

They each got an eye spy bag. They didn't know what to make of it at first, but they were quickly betting who could find which hidden thing first. They are from ttfn0205 and her two kids.*
