hehehe would love to stay the night and have MANY drinkies but as it stands either way £50 ish for a room is something we could do in FL a week later when we're there and we probably have a family gathering to head to early the next day in bristol so we'd need to be home for that :/

Hang your heads in shame all those that mocked when we booked!

We'll be fighting for the parking spaces though. I might get there at 5.00am and put down my towel in the car park just to be sure.

Okay....... apart from the obvious drawback to staying here ( ) ..... is there anything wrong with this hotel? I'm worried having read Kevin's remark! It was listed as 3 or 4 stars according to which site you look at... please tell all Karen! I can't stand naff gaffs!!!

Mandy and I are staying here too, the only problem the place has is the lack of car parking spaces, however I will just have Kevin's car towed away and have his space!!

I doubt the poor old thing will move of it's own accord after driving down to Exeter!

There aren't a lot of spaces Mandy (30???? Guess!) but there are several NCP car parks a very short walk away

Parking is a huge problem in Exeter unfortunately

... 'funny' you should say that Mandy, I'm waiting for my car to get back from being repaired - someone drove into it whilst it was parked in a supermarket car park - at high speed judging by the damage - and of course drove off without a word.

The insurance company (and the garage) say this is happening all too frequently.

I have an idea !! I'll bring a fold-up deckchair and a peak cap, we can have a whip round and get a case of beer, and Kevin would then be all kitted up to sit and keep watch on the cars overnight

Only trouble is, half way through the case of beer I will neither know nor care if the cars get stolen!
