Last year when we succumbed to addonitis at the grand opening of the Doorway to Dreams, we got a bucket full of developer points. Steve has recently started a new job, so his free time has dried up. What exactly can we do with those points? I'll be calling MS tomorrow, but I know sometimes different people have gotten different answers about things in the past. Can you use developer points, for example, in any of the exchange programs, or on the cruise ships? I'd appreciate any "expert" advice on this one. . .

Yes you can but these points have to be used within a 12 month period. So not sure when you purchased.

Exchanges and cruises need to be booked within 12 months and travel completed within 24 months.

I had a hard time booking and confirming mine. I think I ended up calling 3xs for errors on the confirmation. I was told it is done on a manula system, so it is confusing.

A CM told me developer points can not be used to waitlist,, and expire in 12 months.
