Has anyone travelled from the Detroit/Windsor border crossing at the Ambassador Bridge to the Detroit Metro Airport lately. I think you take I-94/96? I was wondering if there is going to be any possible delays on our way to the airport.

There are links there that you can get up to the minute traffic reports.

The I94 area around the airport has a bit of construction, so plan accordingly.

We usually come from the north and avoid 94 like the plague and use Merriman Road.

Have you found a parking spot yet? There are a number of off site parking lots that are a LOT cheaper than the ones on Metro airport itself.

Thanks very much for the link for traffic I will check that out for sure before we leave.
We usually fly out early like around 7am so we get through before there is much traffic but this time our flight leaves at 12:08pm so it might make a difference in travelling time.
We usually park in the Green Lot at the airport.
I appreciate your input .
