Detroit Airport

We leave next Saturday (flight is at 5 pm) for LA from the Detroit airport with Southwest. I know we could eat before but that would be early for dinner (3 pmish). I'm wondering if anyone knows what there is to buy in the terminal (past security) that we could take on the plane with us? I'm just trying to find a few options. Any other ideas?

They have nearly every fast food option I can think of. I don't know if you'd want to take it on the plane. All the other passengers smelling your food. They definitely have McDonalds, Taco Bell, Popeye's, Burger king, Wendy's and Chili's plus a bunch of other places.

Well I doubt we'd be the only ones on the plane with food....with the time and length of flight (short stop in Chicago). We may eat it at the airport...but I may just bring it on the plane if my kids are being slow!

They also have a Quizno's, Mrs. Fields Cookies, PB&J (peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, I assume - I'm allergic so haven't paid much attention) and more. I love flying into and out of Detroit actually, it's very easy to find something for everyone. And it is no problem to bring it on the plane - some may be jealous that they didn't think ahead, but there are always plenty who have food when we go on.
