I went on the website but they dont have any map of the terminals and I was wondering if someone could help me...Im flying in and arriving at Gate D...how far is it to the check in counter area from there? Also, where would be the best place for someone to pick me up? Im carrying on my luggage..no checked...so I want to get out of there as fast as I can...thanks

I brought it up on metroairport.com/maps Click on the maps and directions in the left column and then there will be several options in lighter ink below that. There are a couple map options. Hope that helps.

Try that out. There's a concourse D with gates #'s. Example gate D11. That means you must be flying into the North terminal and not the McNamara/Northwest terminal. I hope that map helps or you can go to
Metroairport.com and maps are listed on the left in Maps and Directions.

As far as pickup, we usually just call the pickup person and tell them we arrived and waiting at such and such door. I park by a local hotel/motel and take off and drive right on up and they get in the car. Signs at metro are easy to read. I've never done the North terminal before, but it's a smaller/older terminal and should be easy to park and navigate.

The North Terminal is brand new - it opened earlier this year. You are thinking of the old Smith Terminal, which has been replaced by the new terminal.
