Determining which park to visit each day?

So do you not do LL then? That's another part of the equation that makes planning challenging for me. We're going May 18-23, so hoping for lower crowds, although I know it's never a good idea to assume that, as Disney is always busy.
We used it last Aug/Sep for our 9-not stay and found we really didn’t need LL. The parks were not so busy that we felt it was a good use of money. We did RD for the first time in years and were able to get a lot done.

We are planning to go back the same time this year and aren’t planning for it at this time. As we get to planning more, we may decide to do it for maybe half of our days. We’re also going with family (who are, as the mom quotes, “CHEAP”)! If they’re already planning to do breakfast in their room and bringing a lunch to the parks, I highly doubt she’ll be interested in LL 😂 So we may decide to do some days with it after they leave.

I’ve watched YouTube videos of influencers who do their LLs the morning of or even midday. With enough refreshing you can grab what you want if you decide to do buy LLMP that morning.

If you haven't done so already, I highly recommend watching some videos about using Lightning Lanes. They're very helpful. I prefer Rob at Ear Scouts, but a lot of people also like Molly at Mammoth Club.

Thank you! I'll check those out. I've watched a couple, but haven't heard of those particular ones.

My general start to planning looks like this:

Day 1 - Magic Kingdom (I always need to start here.)
Day 2 - Animal Kingdom
Day 3 - Hollywood Studios
Day 4 - Epcot
Day 5 - Magic Kingdom or Epcot
Day 6 - Magic Kingdom or Epcot

Then I look at TP's crowd calendar to see if they are predicting any day being decidedly worse. I also check for parties, After Hour events, and festivals. I usually make my lightning lanes based on these parks as my first entry but with my annual pass, I can hop whenever and often do.

Last year I went with DD late October and had 4 park days. We always do park hopper tickets. We rope dropped every morning, rested every afternoon for a little bit, and closed a park each night. No LL of any sort and we did everything we wanted, most of them multiple times. We weren't rushed either. The only planning we did was around the party dates at MK for MNSSHP. I can tell you that on part days, the crowds were noticably lighter until about 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Have a great trip!
