detergent and coffee supplied?

Hi. We are leaving in two weeks for a two bedroom at okw. We are not vacation club members. I thought I read somewhere that coffee was supplied daily. Is that true? We are heavy coffee drinkers. Also, is there any detergent in the room or should we bring our own. Daily housekeeping is also provided right? Thanks so much. Lynn

Are you paying cash for the reservation (CRO) or are you renting from a DVC member? It depends on how you booked your reservation. If paying cash you get daily housekeeping. If you are renting you do not and only get one box of Tide and a starter pack of coffee.

I am assuming you mean you made your own reservation through Disney's CRO?

If that is the case, you will get daily housekeeping. You will also get one packet of coffee per day and one box of detergent per day. If you need more, you can request it. If you're really "heavy" coffee drinkers, you might want to bring your own (and filters) because the stuff they leave is kinda nasty, IMHO.

You will get daily replenishments, but if you love coffee you will want to bring or get your own. What they give you makes about a half a pot of light to medium strength brew. We get a canister of the Maxwellhouse filter packs and use 2 per pot.

That's a single use box of Tide. I think you'll get it replenished daily. If not, you can always buy more at the store.

On our last trip I packed coffee into a zip lock bag and then double bagged it. I then put it in my luggage. I also took basket filters.
