Details about the campfire sing-a-long

Can someone give me details on how the campfire works? I understand they sell the makings for s'mores. Is this done during the singing or before? Where do you sit? What kind of songs do they sing? Is it a capella or do they have a guitar or something? Just curious!

I just returned last week from Ft. Wilderness and the Camp Fire Sing Along was great!

They have a small outdoor area with fire pits on either side - you roast your marshmallows & make smores there. Inbetween is adequate seating for the sing along. You're welcome to roast the marshmallows when the fire is started, during the sing along and even during the movie.

They have a very nice lady who plays the guitar and sings basic camp fire songs. She gets the kids involved and they really love it. While she's singing, Chip & Dale come and greet EVERY disney guest. They ask that you remain in your seat for that and they'll come around to you.

After the sing along, they start the movie! The little conastoga wagon that sells the marshmallows remains open til 10pm and sells popcorn, sodas & snacks. A great time......I highly recommend you attend it at least once.

It is like a drive-in movie without the cars! Just bleacher seats, blankets on the ground, stars in the sky, the sound of happy children and parents roasting marshmellows and watching Aladin on the giant screen. It's truely one of WDW hidden secrets if you have kids 8 or under or if you are a kid at heart....TAZ

I went this summer. We were too late for the sing along the movie was Pinnochio, I didn't think my son was paying attention but he recognized the characters from the movie in the parks and he had never seen the movie before. I guess he liked it.
