Thanks for all the positive feedback guys!!!! We all know Disney is my number one favorite thing to talk about.....which is probably why after being a cast member for 10 years and then moving the New Hampshire, I had to cope by becoming a travel agent! :o)

Glad you liked our tee-shirts! I had fun making them! I must admit, I waited until the last possible minute so they ended up a bit more rough around the edges than I had hoped, but they were still cute and tons of fun to do.

Is everyone enjoying having the Navigator's typed out or should I not bother? I was typing them out for myself anyway to have on file in case I lose my hard copies. I think someone uploaded their scans on another thread though. Should I keep typing them out or are they too hard to read this way?????

I'm goign to get to work on Day Three tonight. Should be done before I hit the hay! Hope you are all enjoying!!!!!!!!!!!

Your TR is amazing, and so are your shirts..

I am in charge of making the shirts for our group of 12...how did you make the wording?? I have our design done, but the wording baffles me..your's looks awesome!!

Thanks! The numbers and the lettering used for the names were iron ons that I bought on-line. I free-hand wrote on the quotes and the DCL Die Hards with fabric pens.

You might be able to create something in Word or another program and then hit the fabric store or order online special paper (I think I saw it in Walmart too) for transfers - iron on ones...

Good luck!

LOVE your trip report!!! You all look like you are having an awesome time. Can't wait to read more.

Yup, Michael's does sell special paper that you can put in your laser printer and it creates and iron-on of anything you print. HOWEVER, we tried this once and when the shirts got wet, the ink ran everywhere. It was wierd. I guess just make sure you follow the directions really well and make sure it's water-proof!

Well, my dear readers....I know this is gonna sound SO bizarre but am having trouble writing the report for Day Three because I can't find my navigator for that day and so I am having trouble remembering exactly what we did. I think I am getting it confused with Thursday, the other day at sea. Anyone have a Navigator for Tuesday the 10th scanned?????

Got a Navigator! (Thanks, S.S. Oceanlover!) and on a roll again. Day Three...coming soon.

Day Three- Monday- 9/10/07
At Sea

Evening Attire: Formal
Animator’s Palate: Show Dinner
Parrot Cay: Island Dinner
Lumiere’s: French Dinner

Drink of the Day: Calm Voyage

Ahhhh, a day at sea!!! Nothing is better! I woke up that morning and went up to Topsiders by myself for some cantaloupe and fresh air. What a gorgeous day! Hot, as the Caribbean should be, but also nice and breezy.

Jay, Dee, Beth and I decided to check out the Dazzling Desserts class at 10:15 in Studio Sea. Chef Vinny was whipping up some white chocolate mousse domes. It was fun to watch, but I really wish they had the capacity to make these classes more interactive. It would be really fun to get the chance to do the stuff yourself. Anyway, after a sampling of the domes and a small tasting of some Rosa Regal (my husband’s favorite champagne!), class was over and we were on to our next mission.

At 11am we all went to Oceaneer Club to watch Cady participate in the Do-Si-Do with Snow White, an activity which Cady had been excited about for MONTHS prior to the cruise. Unfortunately, at the last minute, Cady decided she had had enough of the Oceaneer Club and did not want to stay for Snow White. Oh, well. Maybe next time.

Beth, Cady, Heather and Dee went up by the Mickey Pool (which was so, CRAZY busy and full of little kids!) and David, Jay and I headed down to Quiet Cove. We got there just in time to hear the horn blow at noon and scare the crap out of everyone in the pool. (A favorite past time of mine!) We did some swimming and hot-tubbing and enjoyed the gorgeous sunshine.

By 1:15 Jay and David had to go get ready for their Margarita and Tequila Tasting (which we had purchased tickets for on Day One at Guest Services.) Beth, Dee and I went to Cake and Plate Decorating, while Heather took Cady down for a nap. The class was ok, but I had the same feelings about this one, in that I wish it were more interactive. I bailed out of the class early because Dee and I wanted to go see Ratatouille in the Buena Vista Theater and I wanted to get out of my wet swim clothes. I ran down to the cabin and changed and met Dee outside the theater at 2:20 for the 2:30 showing and it was ALREADY FULL! Not a seat in the theater! I guess we’d have to pass on the movies. Instead, we opted for a quick stop into the gift shops and then we had a seat out on Deck 4 to read our magazines and write postcards. In the meantime, Jay and David had decided to do the walking ship art tour so Dee and I headed off to Movie Jackpot Bingo in Rockin’ Bar D. I do love me some Bingo! Unfortunately, Melanie did NOT call our numbers and Dee started to get hysterically irritated, mumbling under her breath, “I HATE you, Melanie. Call B-2, B-2!!!!!!” It was too funny. SO, we had fun, even though the only thing that was “movie” about bingo was that at the end they raffled off some cheap High School Musical 2 beach balls and a couple of DVDs and books.

After our lack of luck at Bingo, we headed back to the cabins to start getting dressed for formal night. Not being one to turn down free drinks, we stopped by the Captain’s Cocktail Party in the lobby before heading into The Golden Mickeys. The show was adorable, as always. Post-show, we decided on more free alcohol and went back down to the lobby for a second round of drinks. This is where we ran into Rachel, the best cruise director in the world. We chatted with her for a bit, took some cute photos and then went to The Promenade Lounge to chill out before dinner.

After hanging out in the lounge for a bit, we headed into dinner at Lumiere’s. For starters, I had the tomato basil soup, which was great! Jay couldn’t stop singing the praises of the escargot. No snails for this gal, though! For my entrée, I had the beef tenderloin which was so tender that you didn’t even need a knife! Jay loves the lamb and the scallops. Since we all love the whole dessert menu at Lumiere’s, we all had a bit of everything. My favorites were the apple tart and the Grand Manier soufflé.

Stuffed, we waddled out of Lumiere’s and went to change out of our dress clothes. It seemed like everyone was exhausted and decompressing that night so we took it easy. Jay went to bed. Beth, Heather, Dee and Cady turned in too. David and I stopped into Rockin’ Bar D for some of the Golden Mickey’s After Party. They we hit Deck 10 and caught a bit of Monday Night Football, before I grabbed a soda and headed down to bed. Tomorrow we would wake up in one of the most beautiful place in the world, Grand Cayman.

I can add to Monday's trip report by telling you that when I attended the Margarita & Tequila tasting with Jay & David we got really really trashed! The tequila was so strong! And then we all went on the art tour post tasting which resulted in us being very rowdy tour attendees. Lesson: never schedule a quiet tour AFTER going to a drink tasting! :lmao:

I believe that while you guys were doing the dessert class, Christine and I were attending the Castaway Club coffee hour. It was fun. We got snacks and got to meet other DCL veterans and watch some cool movies about DCL that I'd never seen before.

Are all the entertainment classes that way? I was very interested in going on our Jan. cruise, but if it is just a watch and see, I would rather be in the spa. ;)

Thanks, and great report.

Sadly, yes.....for the most part. The only one that is really hand on is the napkin and towel folding class, and I think that's only because it doesn't involve them giving you any consumable product. You just use the napkins and towels and give them back.

They allowed a group of people to come up front and decorate the cake and plates at the Cake and plate decorating session. Most of them are sit and watch though.

I seem to now be having some kind of technical difficulty pasting. The Day Three Navigator Break Down is done....but I cna't get it on here. I'm going to keep working on it.

Ok ummmmmmmm Jennica.. whats the deal? You said you didn't take pictures that day but then later in the TR you said... and I quote "We chatted with her for a bit, took some cute photos and then went to The Promenade Lounge to chill out before dinner." Hmmmmmmmmmm holding out? Did you really think I wouldn't notice?
