Finally got a chance today to call about 13 yo DS' PAP that I washed and totally destroyed. Of course, I can't find the new numbers from when we upgraded ds' pass from an AP to a PAP. According to the CM on the phone, there will be no problem getting ds a new pass. All of the info is on WDW computer system. The easiest way to get it replaced would be for ds to show a photo id. However, either his dad or I can show ours to get him a new pass. Yea!! Still, I'll feel much better about this once I have the new pass in hand.

My first thought was Pap (smear)....what is a PAP???:rotfl2: Certainly, you didn't destroy ds's Pap (smear).:rotfl2:

APs and PAPs are the easiest to replace. Just go to any guest service and show your photo ID. We've replaced ours several times. DH forgot it in the FP machine one time, left it in the hotel safe another time, lost it who knows where another time.

We've never had a problem replacing it, even the kids'. They just verify the name and birthdate of the kids and replaced it asap.

Yep, they just need to match birthday, name and address to the current pass.

Might take a minute if you have a lot of older AP's still in the system.

They are wonderful and very understanding about replacing the AP's! After all, accidents happen!

They didn't ask for any ID for my kids when we went, and they are on the adult price list (11 and 14). I offered the CM at Guest Services outside of EPCOT my AP, driver's license, etc, but he said it was OK, he didn't need it. It took about 5 minutes to get two APs replaced!

Most kids 11 & 14 won't have ID's so they just ask for the kids names, birthdays and addresses.

Since the AP's are biometrics and have the name right on it, even if you print it for the wrong person, they won't be able to use it. Biometrics don't re-set when you re-issue tickets. :)

I have to admit that hearing this from folks on DIS has been even more reassuring than talking to the WDW CMs. Thanks.
