Destination X

Not yet, but I’m already excited about it. Hopefully, I’ll get to watch it over the weekend. I’ll be checking out telemundo and really hoping they have it available. Honestly, I haven’t watched anything really good in a long time, so I’m looking forward to something fresh and entertaining. Sometimes it’s hard to find shows or movies that really grab my attention these days, so fingers crossed this one will be worth the wait

I'm still trying to figure out the Attorney/Flight Attendant

I've been watching with my son, an international studies major, so I realize we may know Europe a little better than the average bear. But, really--could they have possibly found more informed people? Rick and Biggie are the only two who seem to have brains in their heads--maybe Peter, too, since he's a pilot and would, presumably, have some clue of different locations.

I would think if you were picked for the show, even with fairly short notice (like a week), that you would devote your time to looking at maps and reading up on European landmarks, customs, etc.

You know, I wondered about that! I wondered if the casting department specifically tried to find people with at lease some knowledge of European/world geography.

I imagine that the show would’ve been even worse if they cast people with no geography knowledge at all! 🌎🌍🌏

We've been watching it and it's gotten better over time I think. I've enjoyed seeing the different challenges even though some I'm like how in the world could anyone get that. The Venice challenge was cool.

It's been fun to be like "I've been there!!" like with Venice and Paris (although we didn't see much of Paris) back in 2023 and Monaco just this April.

The way the alliances have played out were not how I thought they would end up.

I'd also be happy with whomever wins but I have a favorite. While not the best show IMO for getting travel ideas it has been pretty good for thinking off places.
