Did anyone else catch that on the destination d schedule there is a park evening from 8-10pm (optional) on nov 20th? Also in the fine print is wording that something special is planned that you don't want to miss...

My first throught was they were closing down mk for something interesting (my lights on space mountain desire is going crazy right now. or with the imagineers they have around maybe something special on the classic ride or both!?!?!) but the calendar still has it at 11pm close so an 8-10 event with something special doesn't seem like it.

My second thought is a first look at ROL and then the 21st it's live to everyone? My understanding is they might have completed the new ride in avatar already and the path into avatar near tiffins looks rather complete even with path lighting. would they do a rol + first ride in pandora while still under construction? Now ak is closed at 7:30 and 2 hours would be enough for an rol showing and some other options...

My mind is going nuts.. If anyone is around the 19th and 20th, this suddenly is starting to sound like a steal for the 2 day non-vip ticket price. A dinner for the poly's 45th on the 19th? a surprise park night on the 20th? then everything else that looks amazing... (plus cost of d23 membership or pay a little more per ticket, it's cheaper for just 2 people to go with higher price).

From what I've heard rivers of light should open before this event. They might do a special viewing but I don't think this will debut for that event exclusively.

The speculating is fun! Though like you, is driving me nuts.

At least its only a month away to find out.

I am looking forward to An Amazing Adventures Weekend!
