What is your favorite dessert in the parks or resorts ? Don't forget to tell us details like what is in it , and where we can find it;)

The Grand Marnier soufflé at Victoria and Albert's. What's in it? Pure Heaven. *Sigh*

I love a good cheesecake.. but sadly lst trip I didn't find any that were that good... AKL's wasnt' bad - it was kiwi... anyone know where to get the *BEST* Cheesecake?

In the parks my favourite dessert is funnelcakes just plain with powdered sugar.. yum

>>^..^<<

Chocolate cake with lots of whipped cream at Disney Quest.

Making my mouth water to think about it.

YUUUUUUMMMMMM!!!!!!

The BEST dessert I have ever had in The World was the Chocolate Hazelnut Pyramid at California Grille. It was like a giant Godiva chocolate with just the right balance of chocolate, hazelnut crunch and richness. I seem to recall a side of hazelnut ice cream, too.

How I wish I had one right now.

chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich, available in my favorite location, the nestle bakery on Main street in MK, also in Camp minnie-mickey outside the festival of the lion king in AK. When the cookies are still warm, it's heaven in your mouth. Don't be confused with the prepackaged cookie sandwiches- they don't hold a candle to these fresh delicacies!

I really like the milk chocolate creme brulee at Fulton's and it is usually on the menu.

Though I have to say my favorite dessert ever was at the California Grill.....it was a banana (nut) souffle served with vanilla sauce and homemade vanilla ice cream. The souffle was fresh made so it took about 20 minutes to get to me but it was piping hot and huge. I can still smell when the souffle was 'popped' and the warm vanilla sauce poured inside.....scrumptious! The bad part is the souffle is not normally on the menu.....you just have to be lucky enough to be there when they have it!

Also.....we just had the chocolate souffle at Shula's Steak House (at the Dolphin) last month and it was sinful! Warm and gooey and extremely rich! They also serve it with vanilla sauce, vanilla ice cream, and a bowl of whipped cream. If you are a chocolate lover, it is a must!

My favorite dessert is the Chocolate Wave at Coral Reef. It is a volcano-ish looking thing made of chocolate and when you break into the center, it oozes a warm chocolatey syrup!

The best dessert is the grapefruit cake at the Brown Derby restaurant it is so very good. We have a piece every time we go.

Best dessert ever was at Coral Reef restaurant. A hard-shell chocolate ball which looked like Spaceship Earth complete with legs, and when you lifted off the top half, inside was chocolate mousse with raspberries!!! YUM. I made yummy-noises all day.

My favorite dessert was always the white chocolate cheesecake in raspberry sauce at Cinderella's Castle. In fact, I used to order a salad and rolls for lunch, then the cheesecake and coffee for dessert! It was so filling and very reasonable (<$10 total). I don't know if they still have it (I hope so) but it was out of this world!

I would second the milk chocolate creme brulee at Fulton's. It was my favorite dessert on our last trip - and after 14 days on Discovery Magic, I had a lot of dessert! In case you're interested, here are my top 5 rated desserts from that trip:
1. Milk chocolate creme brulee - Fulton's
2. Chocolate silk bread pudding - Artist Point
3. Lemon cheesecake - Citricos
4. Carrot cake - Wolfgang Puck Cafe
5. White chocolate banana bread pudding - House of Blues

If you want something delicious but aren't in the mood for a fancy dessert, go to the ice cream shop (can't remember the name) directly across the street form Casey's Corner in the MK. Their ice cream sundaes in freshly baked waffle bowls are sooooo delicious! We had these for dessert on 3 different nights, which gave us the chance to taste 3 different flavors of ice cream! Our pre-school DD, who loves ice cream, was in heaven while eating her ice cream cone with Mickey ears (2 chocolate candies).

I have 3 favorites!

Kiluea Torte at Kona Cafe @ the Poly - a dark chocolate flourless cake with a warm, gooey chocolate and hazelnut center. Incredible!!!!

Banana Napoleon at Flying Fish @ The Boardwalk - layers of phylo, cream, and bananas. I think there is caramel drizzled over the entire masterpiece!

Berry Cobbler at Artist Point @ Wilderness Lodge - loads of fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, whatever they have available), served over a golden cake with whipped cream. Lovely! And enough for 2 or more to share.

I can hear the WISH board telling me, "NO, NO, NO...don't read this thread!!!" ;) I read a few posts and couldn't finish it unfortunately, no temptation for me...

I have to second the Berry Cobbler at Artist Point. It was so great that I sometimes dream about it! :teeth:
