Desserts at The Plaza

We have a lunch ressie at the Plaza one day, but are usually too full to have dessert after we eat. We were wondering if you can go in and get a dessert and take it outside to eat (assuming you don't have a ressie). I don't necessarily want to plan an adr just to go in for dessert. We would like to just pop in one day and ask for a dessert and maybe go sit outside somewhere to eat. Is this doable or not?

To do that yo go to the ice cream parlor next store and get desserts and can eat them outside. Same desserts.
