I don't think that there is anything in that shop that doesn't taste good!!! We go in and get a seat for the fireworks early... go to France and get desert (they box it for you), then get fish & chips from the United Kingdom and watch the fireworks....Its awsome!!

I am not sure if this dessert is still offered - but this past January 2008, I had a strawberry shortcake - and honestly, it was AMAZING. I was not expecting much, but it was one of the most memorable desserts I have ever had.

Just checked the Chefs de France menu post date on All EARS and it was last posted October 2007. I do remember when I ordered this past January, that the waitress said it was a brand new dessert - so maybe it is a hit and will be on the menu in June.

When I ate there last spring I had the clafoutis and it was sooo good! This past Sept my DH got the chocolate tart with bananas, coconut, and chocolate ice cream and I got profiterolles. I know alot of people here on the DIS rave about the cream puffs, but I didn't particularly care for them. However, my DH chocolate tart was wonderful. He gave me only one bite though, then refused to share. I've also had some sort of peach dessert there once, but don't see it on the menu now. It was really good.

We ate here for the first time last year and have booked it again this year.

I will be honest with you, the toughest decision we had in our entire trip last year was picking dessert at Chefs des France. There are just too many tempting options. We had 4 people in our party and tried 4 different desserts for sharing. There wasn't a bad choice among them.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions!! From the way it sounds I just can't go wrong no matter what I order!
I can't wait!:cool1:
