I am trying to find a current menu of desserts offered at Blue Bayou. DL website just has lunch, dinner, and kids menu listed. I read some reviews about BB desserts that were back in 2009. Does anybody know what desserts are currently offered at Blue Bayou?

PS: I am not doing a Fantasmic dinner package.....just a regular reservation.

I always mean to ask to see a copy of the dessert menu because this question comes up because, for some reason, the Blue Bayou dessert menu is hard to find. I've read recent reviews with folks mentioning a creme brulee and chocolate cake, but that's about all I recall. I know it's not an extensive menu and the last time I saw one, there wasn't anything really unique/unusually on it. If you don't get an answer here, I would try contacting Disneyland Guest Services and see if they can provide you with a cu rent menu.

For the Fantasmic dinner packages, the choices were creme brulee, a chocolate (chocolate hazlenut, maybe?) layer cake, and a apple cranberry galette. I don't know if there are additional options on the non-Fantasmic menu or not.

The creme brulee was fabulous!

We had dinner there the other night, we didn't do it as the Fantasmic package, was just dinner, the above desserts were what was on offer, the creme brûlée was really nice

I know this thread is asking about desserts, but can you guys tell me if a drink is included in the F! dining package and if so what the drink choices are? Thanks!!!

Same desserts that others mentioned were offered during lunch yesterday. FYI, for those with a picky kid they do not offer fries at all so can't sub for veggies/potatoes.

Oh why oh why doesn't the Blue Bayou offer, like in the good old days, the Tortuga Trio of Creme Brulee. And The Flying Dutchman Cookie Boat.

My guess would be that those were too interesting. I don't think they want people taking up a BB table and just ordering dessert. So, they make the desserts a bit lackluster (still good, just not noteworthy) to discourage it. Just my guess...

I agree. I came to that same conclusion not long after the dessert menu changed. I have not learned though, still to this day, the official reason for those awesome desserts being done away with by Disney.

Wasn't the story with the cookie boat that they lost their supplier for something they needed to make the sails? As it turns out, when eating at Blue Bayou, my wallet ends up empty before the dessert menu comes out. But, I think it would be cool if Disney could add a dessert cafe. I don't know where they'd put it, but it would be fun to have a place that just sells plated desserts.

Like maaaan your reading my mind, get out of there! ;) lol
Seriously though, I have been thinking about something like that as well, regarding fine desserts.

So is it possible or is it frowned upon to only have desserts at the Blue Bayou? We ate there last year, and the creme brulee was amazing, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I might have if I hadn't been so full after my meal!

No, it isn't frowned upon at all. I had even asked about that, a time ago about that, and the Disney dining CM said that would be no problem at all. The dessert menu at the Blue Bayou these days is not all that exciting, in my honest opinion.

Wow, I remember the cookie boat from our last trip to DL when the boys were little. It was so much fun to order as well as good. The boys still remember it even though it's been 8 or so years.::yes::

We only did desserts at Blue Bayou last night. We had an 8:50 pm reservation. There isn't a dessert menu but there were three choices: creme brulee, chocolate cake w/ ganache and an apple crisp/tart. We had the creme brulee which was $8.49 and the chocolate cake w/ ganache which was $8.99. Both desserts were yummy and the atmosphere was great. Creme brulee top sugary layer was a little soggy but great flavor.

Ooooo, thank you so much Gisele & Mckennakendall. That will now be a must do on our next trip in April! Can't wait!
