What is your must have dessert treat? Looking for specific items and the location they can be found.

Of course.. we already have these items on our list:

Dole Whip
Ice Cream Mickey bar
Kona Cone

TIA!!

I'd say you have it covered! My only dessert must-have is the Mickey Bar. I am hoping to try a Dole Whip on our next trip....

My family's most recent favorite is The Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream. We had it for the first time this past June & will be getting it again during our next trip. YUM!

I'm still working my way towards desserts I've read in other threads. I'll list what I've had and list what I plan to try...

Obviously Dole Whips, lol

I just tried the chocolate peanut butter cupcake at starring rolls cafe in HS. It was SO good! There's a picture on second to last page of the food thread floating around today.

Disney Food blog actually has a cupcake Tour and after tasting how good mine was, I now want to try more! There's a caramel one at the caramel place in Germany, Epcot. Red velvet cheesecake one I THiNK from bakery at Boardwalk. And the white elephant cupcake in animal kingdom just looks way too awesome.

The school bread in Norway is a definately must have (if you like coconut)

Other must have I want to try....a creme brulet or Napoleon form France. Kaki Gori from Japan. Zebra Domes from animal kingdom lodge at either boma or mara. And pineapple wontons from yak n yeti in animal kingdom.

I think about the Key Lime Pie at the GF Cafe everyday -I love that chocolate crust. I also like the cheesecake at Germany in EPCOT.

The ice cream sandwiches at MK Mainstreet Bakery are a site, so I'd add that to your list!

Cupcakes (various kinds) from Boardwalk Bakery, Starring Rolls and the Contemporary Resort.

Carrot cake cookie from The Writer's Shop.

Anything from the caramel shop in Epcot (Germany).

Plus a make your own treat from Goofy's Candy Co. at DTD.

It certainly depends on your tastes, but here's mine:

Must do, every time:
Zebra Domes (my DBFF thought they were just "ok")

Can't remember what they call them, but they're pre-packaged and they're a layer of nuts, then a huge wad of caramel, then chocolate on top, come in different nut/flavor combos.

What I must do on my upcoming trip in Nov:
Karamell Kuche in Germany (I LOVE caramel!!!)

Napoleon from the CS in France.

Zebra Domes if we have dinner at Boma or visit the AKL CS.

Red Velvet cupcake & Butterfinger cupcake, usually at Starring Rolls.

#1 fave: bread pudding with ice cream & bananas foster sauce at Ohana.

No Way Jose sundae at Beaches and Cream

Bread pudding at Ohana

Gooey Toffee Cake at LTT (lunch only)

Dole Whip Float

Napoleon from the CS in France.

Zebra Domes if we have dinner at Boma or visit the AKL CS.

Red Velvet cupcake & Butterfinger cupcake, usually at Starring Rolls.

#1 fave: bread pudding with ice cream & bananas foster sauce at Ohana.

Yup, Yup, Yup, and Yup. I definitely agree with all of that. :woohoo:

The hot Chocolate Souffle at Shula's inside the Dolphin.

My wife had to go back for a seat in the bar to enjoy this treat on last time before we left our last visit......It's over-the-top.....

Then my Dad went downstairs to have ice cream at The Fountain. Go figure.

Missouri and Kansas agree? Will wonders never cease??
pixiedust:

We have had a rough history, but when it comes to Napoleons, Red Velvet Cake, Bread Pudding and Zebra Domes how could we possibly disagree. They are soooooooooo good. ::yes::

Honestly, I don't even know why I bother looking at stupid TS meals, argue over whether or not a buffet is too expensive, and try find a way to spend less than $250.00 a day. Really I should just eat a big breakfast and then hit the desserts. There are so many delicious things to try, I don't think I could eat them all in a week. I just read a thread about German Chocolate Cookies. Mercy. There is Karamel Kuche to explore, and I haven't tasted the tip of the iceberg yet at Starring Rolls. I stay at Beach Club every trip, and I have never eaten at Beaches and Cream. I have a lot of work to do.

A few of my faves...

1. A Minnie's bakeshop cookie
2. Ohana Bread Pudding
3. S'mores Square from the Main Street Confectionary
4. Chocolate Eclair from France
5. The Earl's Brownie Creme from the Earl of Sandwich - TRY IT, you will NOT be disappointed!!!

I really think I need to do 2 trips, practically back to back. One with DH, with carefully thought-out meal plans to maximize all the fun and unique dining choices available in WDW. Then the other trip, NOT with DH because it would drive him crazy, just to nosh. Apps, desserts, and snacks only; not a nutritious meal in sight. And an extra suitcase for the two-size-larger clothes I would need to wear by the end of the trip, of course.

But it's fun to dream.......

The Strawberry Shortcake at Beaches and Cream is delicious.

And my DS15 says the sweet pretzel in Norway is great too.

POFQ beignets
Mouseketears white chocolate pretzels (foil pouch)
School bread Kringla
Karamel Küche soft caramel and the caramel corn
German chocolate cookie Goofy's
Chocolate square (free!!) Ghiradelli
O'hana's bread pudding AND ice cream!!!
