I need the forum members help on this. I am at DW right now and have a Tomorrowland Terrace dessert Party reservation for tomorrow. At what time we have to be there? My reservation says 6pm. disney line says 6pm, but Wishes is at 10pm. Someting is wrong here. 4 hours of dessert?????

It starts one hour before the fireworks. There can be quite a line to get in so if the fireworks are at 10, head to the Terrace around 8:40. Enjoy!

We arrived around 8:45 for ours. There was a line but it went fast. There was plenty of dessert. Your seating is based on when you reserved I think - we had a front row table by rail - had reserved 180 days out. Have fun!

Last year we arrived around 9pm for a 10pm Wishes show. As others have said there was a line but it went quickly. This year we plan to arrive about 8:30-8:45 so we can check in and then come and go as we please until Wishes.

As pp said, you can come and go once you check in. You get a wristband so you can leave and come back.

I just went and looked at this on the website and saw the reserveable dates only go through July 4th?

Is there a reason this is not available after that date? Thanks

The price is doubling after July 4th. You can book it by calling.

From $53 to $106 per adult?!?

edit: I called in and they aren't able to pull up availability for it either.

No. $53 is the new price, it was previously cheaper. We booked it for July 22 by calling.

<sigh> Calling was a huge waste of time.

First the lady tells me that I can't select the dates because they are already booked.

I then try to explain that the days aren't selectable *at all*. Not even to even find out if they are already booked.

So then she tells me, oh, that's because there is no wishes shown on December 8th. I tell her that I am under the impression that they have fireworks every night. She tells me nope, if I want to see fireworks that night I have to go to Illuminations.

I pull up the park calendar. I point out that it says, "9:30 - Wishes" on December 8th.

She tells me they must have not updated their calendars yet.

I gave up and hung up.

Mystery solved.

The name changed.

Have to go to "Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party" instead of "Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party" to book after the 4th of July.

Is it worthwhile with the price change? When we went last time, we had one night to see Wishes (technically we had 3, but we had an ADR for CRT one night, figuring we had 2 other chances. Then my mom made us all miss the bus for the other night & we had cut it too close & gave up). It was so foggy/misty, you could barely make out a firework. I do not want to miss it this time, thinking I would try to schedule the dessert party for our first MK night, and leave the second one available just in case. But there will be 7adultd & 3 kids so price is a factor...

Wishes itself is worth seeing. While I can't speak towards how often it gets foggy, I don't imagine it is very often.

Whether the dessert party is worth it or not... well, that's a different question. $50+ for some dessert is a pretty hefty cost. Most people look at it like paying for better seating though. I was there during last years halloween party and we got to the stage area about 15 minutes before the show started (maybe 20) and we were dead center right up near the front.

It's not hard to get a good vantage point. But not all vantage points come with seats and such.

You are paying for the location more than the food, or at least that is what it seems to me. But it still sounds fun to try once.
