Has anyone booked the 3d dessert party with DVC or Visa already? I tried booking, but they told me I couldn't book it early and had to call tomorrow.

I booked the dessert party (sweet seats) early yesterday morning through the chase presale. I don't think it was included in the dvc early bookings. If you're not looking for sweet seats, you can book it online tomorrow. From past experience, general admission doesn't sell out right away, if at all.

What are the sweet seats? I assume you think it's worth it since you booked it instead of general admission.

We did this last year and were very disappointed. Desserts were not that good (I was expecting something like the Fireworks Dessert Buffet at MK which was a lot less expensive). I got flavored popcorn, donuts soaked in whisky and topped with soft serve ice cream, a little bit of fruit. And lots of flavored vodka, whiskey and other hard liquor. Hardly any wine, but they did have lemonade.

And I don't really think the Sweet Seats were worth the extra money.

We did the sweet seats last year and I do think they were worth the money. We got let in 15 minutes before general admission and loaded up our plates and glasses in that time. I know some people have said it wasn't worth it for the party in general, but I thought it was. There was lots of hard alcohol available, so if you're looking for wine and beer, you're out of luck. But I drank a bunch of vodka. I know there were other drink choices, but I like my vodka. The desserts weren't all that spectacular, but they were fine for me. Again, I made out more on the alcohol than the desserts. I guess it depends what you're looking for. But for me, both the dessert party and the sweet seats were worth it.
