Okay, I know that this topic has been gone over many times, but it seems like each WC says something different. So, those of you who have had Julianna and a dessert party, what did she require you to do as far as transportation goes?? TIA

It is in Epcot or MGM, mine is in epcot. They basically reserve an area for you and your group of however many people, and you have various desserts depending on what you pick. You get to eat your dessert and watch either Illuminations or Fantasmic, whichever you choose.

We had a fondue party on the lower UK veranda. The wedding was 11 am and reception followed so we were done by 4pm. Most of the guests went
swimming or to Epcot so everyone just met at the park since they already
had admission tickets.

The bride and groom were driven by sedan to/from the hotel as you need to be escorted into the park by a guide.

Funny you should ask that! We just got our final quote from Juliana and see that a $400 charge has been added to the final bill for bus transportation. We need to double check this with her because we do not want a bus and were not expecting this cost. It is probably our fault for not letting her know that we didn't need transportation. I had asked her at one point about wearing my dress to the dessert party, so she may have assumed I still wanted to do this and added the bus in so we could be privately shuttled there.

I will let you know when we hear back from her, but I don't think we are required to have transportation since we will already be in Epcot for the day with our guests.

Our daughter and husband did wear their wedding clothes since we had Randy come back and take pictures for the event. They just picked up the kids at the hotel in Sedans and drove them to/from Epcot. They entered
somewhere between Canada and UK.

Everyone else dressed casual in park clothes and met at the location.

We requested only the choc fondue, beer, wine, soft drinks and bottled water. They usually add the fondue as an extra add-on to a desert display but I got them to agree to only fondue as long as I would pay no at least
50 guests. At the end, our bill for the whole event was approx $1500 for 45 guests.

When dealing with them be very specific or they will add many misc items to your bill. The more add-ons the better however the event can be just as nice without things no one will notice!

Thanks all, I talked to Juliana and at this point she said I need a mini bus. I'm gonna try and see if I can't get a limo instead, we'll see how that goes! One thing I know for sure, I AM having my dessert party. :woohoo:
